Mauricio's first touch control against Stoke
Turkish replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Looks a bit like Wes Browns tackle on Ramirez, behind the ball, foot off the ground, late and reckless. Luckily for Forren he managed to jump out of the way. -
"could" = you dont know. So rather than take the BBC figures as a guide to Portmouths "muted celebrations" we'll rely on the musing of someone on a mongboard who claims to play the post not the poster.:lol:
-
Thread shows up much is wrong with football and fans these days. So many seem to prefer cheques to trophies.
-
Oh im keeping up, i'm definitely keeping up pal, it you that seems to be struggling and insulting people. So the BBC "estimate" or "up to" 200,000 that came out for Pompey in their muted celebrations would dwarf the amount that would come out for us would it? Are you suggesting Pompey have more passionate fans than us?
-
Except it was BBC figures, but dont let that get in the way of your arguement that is about as convicing as Amanda Knoxs defence lawyer.
-
Ahh i get it so the BBC plucked figures out of the sky did they. "up to" or "an estimated" 200,000 people is still a hell of a lot of people celebrating something no one cares about isn't it pal. "muted celebrations" Keep 'em coming.:lol::lol:
-
What are you on about? BBC figures, no one elses, unless the BBC were lying. http://www.bbc.co.uk/hampshire/content/articles/2008/05/15/pompey_victory_parade_feature.shtml Muted celebrations about a cup no one cares about. FACT :lol::lol:

Clearly he thinks the estimated near on 200,000 Pompey fans that lined the streets after their cup win only 6 years ago were just hoping to see a cup final version of its a knock out before settling down for Countryfile.

As opposed to being a mid 20s, scrawny, four eyed virgin. One of those who's clearly quite an intelligent bloke but has the social skills of Barry George. So young and so naive that he can't believe a reality outside of what sky premier league marketing sells him is possible, yes?
-
I disagree, I'd much rather see an open top bus parade with the Premier league cheque for finishing 6th being held gloriously aloft amongst the champagne popping out of bottles than some pointless, low grade cup that isn't what it was and no one cares about anymore. In 30 years time they won't talk about how many trophies a club has to its name, it'll be all about now much prize money has been won for never winning anything. Win the FA cup and I'll be glued to the Eastenders omnibus when the cup is paraded, win a cheque for 6th I'll be out there punching the air and waving my 'Katrina, wooooh' banner.

Don't understand why people can't spell the Liberhers names, they are our owners FFS
-
A familiar name to us, Michael Antonio, he is going to be class, a top premier league player.

I preferred the days before facebook when you'd take a picture of your dinner and spend the next week visiting all your friends, colleagues and people you might have spoken to once before showing them the picture and shouting 'NOM NOM NOM' in their faces.

We do our business privately. It's the Southampton way.

Ramirez would look good In that Liverpool side, having Sturridge and Suarez to play with. Fair play to Rodgers, knew he'd do a great job there and shut up those knocking him a year ago. Laughable that reading sacked him.

S if its not about the individual its about the systems then its fair to say we shouldn't worry too much about MP as the system will work regardless of the individuals. Thanks for proving me right, I know you're still heartbroken and time is a greater healer Francis, but it seems, as usual, the LOL is on you.

Did you know 6 of your last 7 posts have been about me or in reply to me. That's pretty odd behaviour considering I've not been on here much this week. You also seem to have memorised every post I've ever made. Will take some going to trump last weeks trawling of the internet to find a post, which wasn't even on this forum and then totally take it out of context to try and prove some point you were making that didn't exist, but the level of obsession is quite flattering.

He was just a department head too
-
I wouldn't be too worried about what happens to MP. Weren't we once told that managers are just department heads and not really all that important in the grand scheme of things?
-
Win at Hull, champions league or nothing isn't it?

FC has taken this all very hard Hypo. He reminds me of the little child whose parents promise to take him to legoland during the school holidays but on the day they are meant to go it is pouring with rain and the weather is just so bad that they cant go. The little boys doesnt understand what has gone wrong and why they cant go, he cries and cries and cries, stamping his feet and sulking saying that his parents had broken their promises and whatever anyone says to him he is inconsolable.

I got given a verbal warning for running club call about 20 times in a week in the mid 90s. It's finest hour was when they announced Alan Armstrong had signed for us from Stockport only for him to be unveiled at Middlesbrough the next day.
-
Except of course it hasn't has it sunshine. No one has been able to explain why it's cause for celebrating that this terrible player won't be featuring against us, just the usual bleating. I'll know when a thread has turned into a nightmare for me when I have to resort to searching the internet to find quotes not even made on this forum and take them completely out of context to try to prove a point. Now that really is a *insert mongy emoticon* moment

Weren't we the club whose owners wrote off £30m of debt whilst we were in the championship?
