Th thing that annoyed me about the Canadians is they all had their own pint sized beer jugs for the swim up all inclusive bars. I was surprised how fat they were too, I always imagined Canadians to be out door types. 'Big jug, big guy' one of them said. Which I guess is the swim up hotel all inclusive bar version of a fatty rubbing his belly and proudly claiming 'all bought and paid for'. I agree. He had a spell of about 8 games where he was very good in the championship but in the main was no more than a decent squad player. He obviously has the all important quality that saints fans love of running around a lot, a hardworking player, a decent bloke but people seem to think he was some sort of footballing god who was a key player.

He's anything been said about if the fee was paid upfront or not? Someone is claiming on the UI that we have a policy if paying all fees up front and with consultancy fees, wages the loss is over £5m. Its the first I've heard of this as all transfers are usually spread out over the length of the contract so I'd put our loss at around £1.5m, which still £2m less than an injury prone Equdorian, so no big deal.
