It's nothing to do with the decision, that has proven to be right. It's the way it was done, with MP admitting he was approached while Adkins was still In situ, then the messing him about with compensation and letting him get on with his career elsewhere. What is your stance Jamie? Forget if it was the right decision or not, do you think the Adkins has been treated fairly or not?

Time has proven it was the right decision, but I wasn't one of those saying Adkins was the new Ferguson. the way it was done, the time it's taken to give compensation and the fact Adkins had to take saints to court to take the Reading job are shocking way to treat a decent guy who was successful here. I'm amazed some of our holier than thou posters defend the club in this.

This time last year people were describing Adkins as the new Ferguson, the next great England manager and the best manager we've very had. Now people seem to be justifying his treatment and dismissing it as something that had to be done, what short memories and lack of morals some of you have.

I would guarantee if I'd picked anyone up on that and asked them for their justification for why they think he's a crap manager and got into a discussion I'd be lambasted for trolling because it's not the popular view on here to rate him. You're right it is a two way thing, people need to back up their views and statements and not get stroppy if they're challenged.

No, because I don't like the way he sets his teams out to play. But He took Bolton into Europe and every club he's managed in the premier league he's turned into solid midtable sides. How has it panned out for Blackburn since they fired him? . To say he is a terrible manager is bullsh*t, he's a good, effective manager, not pretty but doesn't pretend he is. As a bloke he's an idiot though.

Mark Long is your man, id imagine you'll get a call from him early next week giving you a patronising boll+cking like a headmaster talking to a naughty child banging on about breaking ground regulations and harming the name if the club if past experience when a couple of mates who were in your situation is anything to go by. Unfortunately as the police have ejected you and confiscated your season ticket I'm guessing you admitted you did drink alcohol so I'd just be very polite, say you're very sorry, didn't know what you were doing was wrong etc and hope they use a bit of common sense and realise the little hitler stewards and old bill have been over zealous as usual. FWIW a mate of mine did something far worse at an away game and got thrown out at half time and he got a couple of game ban from home games but that was it so I can't imagine they'll take your season ticket off you permanently. Do feel for you though mate, idiotic policing and stewarding as usual and treating decent people at football matches with contempt.

I'm not criticising KD, simply pointing out he isn't a premier league keeper despite claims on here he was and should be England's keeper! The keeper and 2 centre backs are the foundations which your team is built on.

So correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the point of a forum was discussion and debate. If you don't agree with someone's opinion then surely you are entitled to question it? Or is it more case that only one view is allowed and anyone that doesn't subscribe to the popular view is a WUM?

We've got two excellent full backs, the top notch centre half we've been crying out for but above all else an excellent experienced goalkeeper that the defence trust and commands his area. Being a good goalkeeper is not about doing spectacular saves for the cameras. It's about communication, commanding the area, coming and claiming crosses AND being able to make important saves. When people said last summer Davis wasn't up to it the Leeds game and a few of his saves were pointed at to defend him. Those that understand the game knew he couldn't command his box, flapped at crosses and despite making the odd spectacular save, he was a mile from being the answer for us as a primeur league keeper. Our improvement defensively last season coincided with his improved fitness and run in side and now we have a centre half of real quality in front of him it's gone from strength to strength.

As I said, it's not my problem people can't handle an opinion different to their own, or even to have their own challenged.
