8 Points from 8 games is relegation form.

He has played well on the right when coming on. Watford at home for example. I dont understand why he wasn't give a chance with Chaplows injury. He's intellegent, got a bit of quality in his delivery. I would pick him ahead of SDR. Although he doesn't have his pace his final ball and delivery is far better. Dickson is a decent left back and midfielder, better than Harding IMO. He cant even get on the bench. It's a waste of a decent player.

How bad do we have to be to give them a game? Butterfield and Holmes have both done well when called up this season. Holmes looked good against Watford and scored a good goal. Butterfield played well in his game and can also cover in midfield. Dickson IMO is a far better left back than Harding and was decent last season but cant get a kick. Why? If i were any of them i'd be banging on Niges door asking questions.

We are yet to see the best of Jonno Quick, just like last time he was needed i full expect him to step in and do the business. We are lucky to have a bench and squad where a player of his ability is only a squad player.

Just take one. Promise to pay later and when they chase you tell them you can't. Isn't that the normal way of doing things?
-
What do you mean "shafted" by Rhodes, Sharp etc? Do you mean pay the going rate for proven quality? You'd rather we gamble on cheap foreigners than sign proven quality is that what you mean?
-
It's a gamble, a massive gamble. Yes he looks good but so did Veron, Crespo Delgado, De Pedro etc etc. Being decent in one country doesn't always equal you'll be good somewhere else. This could be a great signing, it could be a disaster. IMO if we are serious about promotion then we need a proven championship goal scorer. I hope this isn't our only striker signing in January.

Isnt this a case of a foreigner taking a job and English bloke could do?

Pardew actually mentioned about our fans a couple of times on post match interviews just before he "left". I remember after the cup game against bournemouth he said about how fans were quick to get on the players backs and how the Bournemouth fans for behind the team but we only did if pass was brilliant. To be fair he was spot on and it's just as bad now.

They don't mess about with cheats in Switzerland then

One thing is for sure if Pompey got a points deduction, it would be the most passionate and best points deduction in the world. -
Now that would have sealed it. Some proper LOL moment, really funny mate.

Quality mate, sheer quality. top work pal. I really did almost ROFL when at the "they said man couldnt climb everest" moment.

So let me get this right. Liam Lawrence is involved in drink related violence and he is a thug. Our players are and they are victims of a Southampton nightlifes Chav culture.
-
How is any of it slanderous? Do you or do you not agree that it is worrying that 3 of our players have been linked to drink related violence in the last year. And to those of you blaming local chavs, yeah we so have a lot of lemons about but they were still there when Pardew, Pearson, even the Dutch mugs. No accounts of this sort of thing then.
-
Indeed. I didn't know wether to PMSL or ROFL when I read that.

No one likes to are people taken for a ride and dSM seems to to Jillyanne who seems like a decent person.
-
Exactly. We should be on 57 points and on course to achieve 110 points for the season, more than anyone else has ever got in the championship. If only our away form was better FFS.

This is what our dinlow fans don't get. He is a creative player and a winger, by their very nature they are not consistent. What they do offer though is that ability to unlock defences and do Something a little different. If every pass they played was a defence splitting one, If every run was a mazy dribble which lead to a sublime cross onto the strikers head do you think he'd be playing in league one or the championship? He wasnt great every week but some weeks he was excellent. Is it any coincidence that JP started playing badly when the fans got on his back and this forum was full of clueless clowns demanding the signing of that world beater Michael Antonio? Creative/flair players are also confidence players and the crowd on their back for every missed placed pass doesn't help anyone. JP might have a bit of an attitude but as fans we didn't help him either. A lot of it down to people's unrealistic expectations that a League one winger should be brilliant every week.

I'm sure Nige is delighted he has your approval.

Would you go as far as to say life is now "all that"?

I want to know why Verbal wasn't given an honour for service to Internet forums.

This should be in golden posts. 2.50am new years day. Absolute class timing.

I agree he's quality. By far our beat midfielder and alon with Lambert should be first name on the team sheet.
