It's an excuse. Just like after the Pompey game. Last time Millwall came down there was trouble up town. This time there were large numbers of Millwall lads in town all day, at one point a pub full of them was surrounded by police. There was an incident inside the ground. I really dont understand what further "intellegence" is needed.

Really? I thought it was the polices job to prevent disorder and to protect the public, not to get as many people banned from football as possible and if they have to lie, screw people over and make stuff up on the way it so be it.

I am assuming this is a joke. There were 100+ Millwall "lads" in the Angel, many of them known and have been on bans in the past and the pub surrounded by old bill watching them closely. During the game Millwall attempt at kicking off inside the ground. What more f*cking intellegence do you need than an actual incident almost happening inside the ground??!! As has already been mentioned, they've got a full time banning officer now so he needs to be busy, a few bans for this one, make sure their funding is in place and their pal is kept busy. I do see your point. 10 years ago i wouldn't have dreamed of missing an England game, friday i went out for a meal with the misuss and some friends, tonight am i so uninterested i am seriously thinking of going to the gym instead of watching it. I just feel no affinity towards players like Cole, Terry, Lampard and co. England will probably win and qualify tonight and then the w*nk fest will follow up until next summer about how we can win it, our team of world class players etc as it does everytime we win a group containing world greats like Montenegro and Bulgaria, before we get embarassed by a team which can play football yet again. I dont want England to fail but it has happened so often after so much hype it has become expected and dare i say it, almost amusing.
