  1. They've lost their best striker in McClean. I wouldn't be overly concearned, lets hope new manager syndrome hits them on saturday and they turn Brighton over.
  2. Ditto you with my opinon. Okay then, so the squad which has won 70% of its last 20 games and would have 102 points if this was over the course of a season isn't good enough for promotion. I'll leave it there, thank you and good day.
  3. Or alternatively we could simply be confident, both as a team and a fanbase, the team seem to have got the balance right and playing with confidence but not arrogance, oh you wouldn't know would you, no one has posted it on here yet.
  4. And you accuse me of only reading what i want to read!!! Your ability to read seems to be lacking, see the posts above, i've said a couple wont hurt and even suggested players & positions, something you appear unable to do, which is what i am "outraged" about. You say "we need to strengthen" but cant say where, why or with who. There is a difference between needing and wanting. Now stop picking bit from sentances and answer my question. Given the FACT that we have won 70% of our matches since Adkins took over, is this current squad good enough for promotion, yes or no?
  5. New signings guarentee nothing. No one is saying a couple wouldn't hurt. GIven the last 20 games and we have had injuries, suspensions etc provided no one leaves then the fact that we have won nearly 3/4s of our last 20 games shows this current squad IS CLEARLY good enough for promtion. Yes or No?
  6. There is only one person i have ever come across on any forum or in realy life that after winning 6-0 away from home against a promotion rival with one of the best home record in the league, coudl STILL find things to moan about.
  7. When will YOU understand, Adkins record, P20, W14, Drew 3 Lost 3, Leagues games points amassed 38 over 17 games, over a season 102 points, and all with this "weak" squad that have had injuries already. If only we had more cover.
  8. Thanks god we didn't need to use those sh*t midfield subsitutes!
  9. No, you are wrong two midfielders not available and we have no decent subs for them. No depth
  10. Have you seen Butterfield, Dickson and Gobern play in midfield then?
  11. we manaaged to cope with that for the two months Puncheon wasn't here.
  12. You all know if we lose tonight he'll be on here saying 'i told you so'
  13. We need to strengthen.
  14. It'll make sure regulars get priority then wont it. Very good decision IMO. Means people that go regularly are rewarded and will help with the boost the attendance for the Carlise game. Good price too, the club have got it spot on with this one. BTW i know in the past if you couldn't make the game they speicifed, you could choose another game as long as you bought them both together, so if you cant make Carlise you can ask, for regulars this wont make any difference as we will be going anyway.
  15. got to hand it to him, fair play for showing such loyalty, not many around like that anymore.
  16. leave it Mikey, i am not a groomer, stick to flirting with Verbal, he is more up your street.
  17. Paranoia? Inferiority complex? self obsessed? or just plain weird?
  18. that was a 2010 gag. However it can be no coincidence that you were both well supported on the tendious posters of 2010 awards.
  19. How tediousy predictable that you would come on here and respond, within seconds, to my post. Have you set up a Turkish alert on your lap top so you can be told when i have logged on or posted? You are obsessed with me you wierdo.
  20. So did a lot of the saints lot that were give a year+ for shaking a fence, some were even saying on here they were lucky and shuld have got 5 years (the maximum. Impecible behaviour before that day or not, you know at 18 years old and a supposedly intellegent one at that, that throwing a fire extinguisher into a crowd from the top of a building if f*cking stupid and dangerous. It's not like shaking a fence or throwing a stone. I would guarentee his parents are minted and he has had a right easy run of it so far, thinking he can do what he likes. And another thing is, he may well have got caught up in the moment, but what was he doing wondering around with a fire extinguisher anyway if he wasn't intending to use it as a missle or weapon? You dont just find those things lying around on the floor, there was an element of premeditation about it.
  21. He'll do about 13 months, these days people serve half and then get released on tags earlier than that. I expect the arrogant little c*nt thought he was untouchable, no doubt from rich parents and sailed through life being given handouts and a free ride as their parents little golden child. I bet he cried in the dock and said how sorry he was. should have though about that before he started throwing fire extigushiers around. The jumped up little f*cker is in for a rude awakening now when he meets the rude boys in Feltham. That'll be an education money cant buy.
  22. Thanks for your imput, dumb post.
  23. They tried last season if i remember rightly, but for some reason everyone felt they need to be near the away fans. It's true what was said earlier, i sit in the itchen and you cant hear the northam when a full away end is going for it. Of course the Chapel end wont be the same for the games like Rochdale, but the atmosphere would be dead anyway. I really think the atmosphere would be much improved having a full home end and it would be a return to traditional football. People talk fondly about the old Milton Road end, the Kop, the Stretford end, the North Bank, the Holte end etc, if anyone went to football when these were terraces the noise generated was superb. I went to Highbury and Villa Park as a kid and they looked and sounded really impressive. The Kop at Anfield still does even though it always has to be accompanied by the commentators crowing that it's "another one of those great European nights at Anfield"
  24. Just posted something about this on another thread. I remember the club wanted to do this but why was everyone against it? Why did everyone think the "singing area" needed to be near the away fans. People are moaning that they are going to lose the northam for big cup games liek Man U and it'll be spread out and some part timers will be in the Kingsland areas moaning at the noise, dilituing the atmosphere. This would never happen if the whole area was in the Chapel. I think it woul be brilliant having a whole end of 6-7k singing, you certainly wouldn't get the diliuted noise you get at SMS these days with parts of the ground singing different songs or the same one a bit behind the northam. Remember how impressive the northam looked when we had pretty much the whole end for JPT game against MK Dons? That was one of the best atmospheres i've seen at SMS, it could be like that a lot more. What is everyones thoughts?
