  1. I dont celebrate valentines day, why take your bird out because you feel you have to because everyone else is? It means nothing, as i explained long ago to my incumbent, would she prefer i take her out because i want to or because i think i should do? No doubt some of the postees on here will have exciting things planned for their partners though.
  2. almost upon us, the most pointless "celebration" of the year. SO what have you clowns got planned for your delightful ladies (or men, if you are a woman or a homosexual) this year then?

i think it is, it's a lot better than some of the nonsense on here. The lack of terrace culture at Southampton is unreal. No wit, not banter, no self depreciating humour like the Andy Carroll song at Liverpool, just gay songs sung at 1,000,000 Mph and clapping like Seals on speed. Imagine the reaction if Saints sung songs like the Park songs Man U sing about him. He shoots, He scores, He eats labradors, Ji Sung Park, Ji Sung Park... Or Park, Park, wherever you may be, You eat dogs in your home country, but it could be worse, you could be Scouse, Eating rats in your council house. We'd have the PC brigade in uproar on here. FFS we even had someone say Saints fans are racist because they got on Puncheons back a few weeks ago.

some of these songs are so f*cking gay it's untrue.
  6. Of these women, which one are you going to try to nail?
  7. Tell your "friends" that you are watching the football if they like it or not, they are welcome to watch it you and you will even let them buy you some drinks and go to the bar when the game is on. Alternatively why not make a day of it and take your "friends" along to Peterborough? Tickets still available for only £20 which is bargain price to see L1 level football whilst standing on a terrace romantisising about how much better football was when you could stand up with being ejected. Unless they are strange, homosexuals or women then they will be delighted to watch the game with you. If they refuse then i suggest you find some new friends, anyone that doesn't like football is wierd and you are only delay the invitable by culling them now. Best get it out of the way before you start being invited to Robot parties and Country fayres. Unless of course they are a woman but in that case what are you doing taking women to a pub? THey should be at home cooking at 5pm on a saturday evening.

We always knew he was a red Carroll Carroll He’s got a dirty greasy head Carroll Carroll He hits his birds and burns his house But we don’t care because that’s scouse Andy Carroll Liverpool’s number 9!
  9. Why would they do that? Why do that and not tell anyone or mention it anywhere in the paper? Why choose a table from November? Why not choose a table in September when we were bottom half?
  10. you beat me to it. I dont understand how this paper can consistantly be so incompetent.
  11. This. And they would happily have seen us go under rather than lose face and let our new owners appeal the 10 point penalty. Utterly shameful way to treat your members.
  12. and the Dominos pizzas deliveries!

  14. backdoor smashers in.
  15. BTW, we have also scored the second highest amount of goals away from hom this season.
  16. F*ck off!
  17. So we are going to go back to speculating on what might happen if we hadnt won then? That we might have lost last night and might lose on saturday then we might be out of the top 6? BTW, Barnard missed an open goal from 10 yards last night, i'm sure he'd have scored if Lallan had been playing.
  18. I agree, but being 4th, even 6th, with 20 games to go doesn't mean our season is in deep trouble.
  19. oh please f*ck off with all these sh*tty songs. They are generally awful and even the good ones no one will sing them as we struggle to sing our own anthem properly.
  20. Not Catastropic, no. Disapointing certainly but I would expect 4 points from Exeter and P'Boro would be considered by most a decent return from two tough away, i know i would. of course anything less than a win last night heaps pressure on us to get a result saturday, but we did win, we may have left it late, we may have a touch fortunate, but we won and that is all that matters. Why shouldn't we get a result at Boro? We've won half our games this season, we should expect at least a point, i expect us to win. And the reason i have analysed away form is because people were bemoaning how many away games we had against home games, put on a points per game basis our away form is the best in the league. And i wouldn't say being 4th, 2 points of second with two games in hand means our season is in deep trouble, would you?
  21. Despite calls from some on the match thread last night that our season is in deep trouble and all the moaning earlier in Jan that we have so many away games, It is worth noting that after last nights result our away form is the joint best in the division despite playing at least one game less than the others. We have also only won one game less away than at home despite playing 3 fewer matches. We have won 3 of our last 4 away. Based on this evidence, is saying our season is in "deep trouble" are premature after being 1-1 away at Exeter, a difficult place to get a result, after 70 mins?
  22. He was very quick strong and lively. Grew in confidence as the game went on. Surprised when he came off as AOC didn't have a good night at all, dont think he beat his man once whereas NG was beating his inside and outside all the time. We didn't play well on a terrible pitch against an Exeter side who were up for it and the better side for long periods. Harley was really good for them, cant believe we didn't bid for him in Jan. Nonetheless we got the win in the end although we could have been 2 up when Exeter scored, NG hitting the bar then Barnard from the rebound and RL missed from close range. Apart from the winner the most pleasing thing for me was the attitude of the players straight after the equalizer, not much celebrating and running around like we had saved a point, they were straight into the net to get the ball and back to the centre circle clearly intent on going on and winning the game. We followed Lallana down the A35 for most of the way, he was driving so cant be in too bad a way, hopefully he'll be back saturday. If he'd have been playing we wouldn't have hit the bar 3 times, they all have gone in and Davis would have reached the ball before Nardilello for their goal so we'd have won 5-0.
  23. no it's not just you.
  24. yeah he got cancer sadly and moved back to France.
  25. FOr once i agree with you. There is no doubt he has a lot of talent but his attitude leaves a lot to be desired. I dont think Saints fans helped him to be honest, on his back all the time with many romaticising about how much better Antonio was meant to be but with his attitude i believe we are best off shot of him.
