The good thing about spinning is you can make it as hard or as easy as you want depending on what resistance you set the bike to. The instructor will advise you but it's down to how you feel and what you can cope with. It's good for calorie burning as you do all sorts of things, sprints, intervals, slow pace, hill climbs etc. I find road running incredibly boring but some people love it.

a low carb high protein diet, cut out bread, pasta, potatoes and especially alcohol and fried food. Interval training is good for burning calories, anything that gets your heart rate going up and down. Circuit training is good and when you're doing weights do 3 sets of 12-15 reps per excercise. A mate of mine lost nearly 2 stone in 3 months from doing spinning classes 3 times a week and watching what he ate and drank. Dont go mad, over train and expect it all to come off straight away though, too many people throw themselves into it and when they dont get results straight away give up or binge which makes training hard pointless. To keep it off has to be a lifestyle chance though, you can have the treats now and again but you've got to maintain a healthy balanced diet and a rigourous excercise regime. So much of it is down to diet though, think of your body like a car, put sh*t fuel into it it'll run like sh*t, put quality fuel in it it'll run a lot better.

Gone right off Lacoste, the quality of the last two i've bought has been poor, not fakes as bought from high street shops. They've gone out of shape quickly and looked shabby, plus you see far too many of them around these days. The quality of Ralph Lauren ones is much better and the Boss ones are good and can be picked up for 35 sheets each from Bicester.

If Deppo is reinstated then it will show tha Baj is a weak leader. Baj is not this, he is a strong and powerful leader, a true warrior king who has achieved his lofty position of site owner and moderator by running this forum with a fist of iron. He has been subject to abuse from the proletariat in times gone by but he is unswerved in his desire to keep hold of his powerful position and to continue to surpress the masses and quash any uprising. It is a battle you will never win, Baj will crush and exterminate any insubordination, his power is and alwasy well be overwhelming, no one can remove his finger from the infraction and ban tabs, not even God can stop him! I fear Deppo is gone forever, but let his loss not be in vain, lets all learn from this and move on. Finally now we can recognise the power of Baj, we have seen the consequences of DEppos sins, we have seen how quickly and effortlessly Baj can snuff out uprising. It's time to crown Baj Forum master and Lord and bow down before. Baj i salute you, i kneel before you and kiss the ring on your finger and pledge my unwavering support for your rule. Deppo is Dead, Long Live King Baj.

Is this the same grapevine that told you we were signing Charlie Austin??

But Chamberlain made Garry Borrowdale look a mug and got him sent off by skinning him, he skinned the D&R left back all day, are you saying he would make different decisions against Ashely Cole and Gareth Bale? How can this be, when the standard of opposition doesn't matter?
-
But surely with his "great football brain" which is better than current England internationals, it wont matter which side he plays on, he'd easily be able to adapt.
-
I agree, we need one of those and we are looking for the perfect striker then in that case, they are probably playing for Barcelona, Real Madrid, Man United or Chelsea and costing £40m+ so we should make sure we put a cheeky bid in.
-
There is no doubt Chamberlain is a good player, no one is saying he isn't. What i find laughable are the claims Chamberlain has a better football brain than Walcott and using Walcotts performances at international level as evidence to back this up. He may do, he may not, but you cant compare one player in Division 3 playing against Dagenham and Wallsall with another who is playing international and champions league football. I certainly dont remember Chamberlain skinning O'Shea or Fabio in the cup game like he has done Wallsalls and Dagenhams fullbacks.

A lot of companies have it written into contracts that if you are found guilty of a criminal offence whilst employed by them the company, either whilst on company business or not, then this can considered gross misconduct and lead to instant dismissal, my company have it in our contracts and i'm pretty sure the last one did as well.
-
The standard of the opposition doesn't matter dont forget.
-
No Theo didn't, but he was playing at INTERNATIONAL level. Do you not think that the level you play at matters? Do you think Chamberlain would be as confident at skinning Ashley Cole as he would be Carlises Garry Borrowdale? DO you think he would make the same decision if he was playing Chelsea and Carlise?
-
True, then when they realise he's not the new Platini people will be saying he is sh*te.
-
We know he's a good player, he's played in the Championship for the last 4 seasons, half of one with us, he's an England U21 international and a Chelsea player at the moment. It's not quite the same as signing a player from relegated S****horpe.
-
Please explain what a "football brain" is. And you are comparing someone playing at international level against someone playing at League one level, it's a ridiculous comparison.
-
He's just signed for Hamburg sadly. Jack Cork is a quality player and would be a great signing. Young, hungey & talented but also had 3 or 4 years championship experience. Just the sort of player we should be looking at.

John Terrys nickname, JT is ingenious.
-
Calling one of the management team by his nickname shows a lack of respect to me. We could do without someone like that coming in.
-
No point, we have "too much money" as it is. An extra £10m isn't going to make a difference.
-
/\ I am not "browbeating them" i am trying to understand the logic, particularly the comments that it doesn't matter who the opposition are when you have this great football brain. Also the laughable comment on another thread that only his attitude can stop him becoming a world great and his attitude doesn't seem to be a problem, yes thats right people he is the new Messi FFS. I'd have thought it'd be much easier to look like a world beater against the likes of the magnificent Gary Borrowdale of Carlise and other no mark league one full backs than against Ashely Cole or Gareth Bale but it seems not. Everyone seems to go on about Chamberlain being better at the same age and using Theo apparantly running up blind alleys at internatinal level as evidence of this, forgetting that when Walcott was with us he was one of the hotest prospects in Europe, scored plenty and was head and shoulders the best player in our team, Chamberlain isn't and that is for a team playing the division below. Walcott has never had the honour of playing league one football, if Chamberlain tears the championship apart next season then i might form the opinion that Chamberlain will be a better player and go onto become a top 4 club, champions league and full international player, until then and you can make a like for like comparison based on the same standard of opposition it is very difficult to say, although of course if some people believe that the opposition doesn't matter when you have thisd great football brain whatever that may be. I am sure we should just send a few scouts out to watch sunday league pub football and pick up a few players from there as i am sure there are plenty of players turning out at Riverside Park every sunday morning who can make great decisions when playing against hungover, slow, over weight cart horses.
-
Shut up you clown. How any one can compare one player who has 2/3rds of a season playing against Walsall and Dagenham to a player who is now a full England international and has spent the last 3 seasons playing regularly for a team who has finished top 4 in the premier league, scared the sh*t out od Barcelona, who are regarded as one of the greatest teams ever, scored a hatrick for England and scored at Wembley in a domestic cup final, yet argue that the League One prospect has a better football brain is laughable, unless of course you are the type of Saints fan that thinks Scott Parker, Micheal Owen and Shay GIven are falling over themselves to join us.
-
Again it's difficult to judge this until Chamberlain has played for 6 months in the Championship. The gulf might not be huge but there is a gulf none the less. At 17 Walcott was THE best young player in England if not Europe, he was also the best player in the Saints team. He might not have gone onto become a world great like some expected but he is still a good international level player. With no disrespect to Chamberlain who is a very good young player, he isn't the best player in the current Saints team at the moment who have been playing the division below and he isn't the best young player in England. I really think only those looking through SFC tinted glasses can believe Chamberlain is better at the same age.
-
That's alright then. Must be a few sunday league players that have scored a hatful this season who CDAJFU.
-
So you are saying that when being marked by Gary Borrwdale or Ashley Cole, Chamberlain would make the exactly the same decisions? He'd be just as confident of skinning both, cutting inside them, etc etc.
