  1. This was on another thread where i was accused and i quote of being a "petty racist scumbag" based on a comination of my avatar and saying there was no mass of racial hatred towards Jews in football grounds in England.
  2. As i say, there was no reason to think there would be. I dont see why i should justify myself to those that have a superiority complex and take the moral high ground. Maybe they should be a bit more humble and stop leaping to conclusions before making sweeping, ill founded accusations? Talking of which i am still waiting for my apology from Verbal for his comments.
  3. :lol::lol:
  4. If it makes you happy.
  5. They wouldn't fit in at SMS, that is far too slow.
  6. As i say above, it's only our liberal forum superstars that have turned the avatar into a racist issue.
  7. Why should I? When i chose this avatar there were no thoughts whatsoever of any racist inferance or intent, it was simply a popular character from one of my favourite comedies. It's only our liberal superstars that have turned it into a racist issue. This based on their own lack of knowledge and ignorance of the programme that the avatar is from. how ironic that they would likely accuse racists of those very same things. As for Verbals comments based on this ignorance which you can find on the thread about Anti-semitic chants at football where he claims that "Turkish reserves the right to be a petty racist scumbag without being called one" What do we all make of that? One could find that sort of accusation highly offensive.
  8. Or prehaps i just like the League of Gentlemen??? Here's a little light reading to help bring you up to speed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papa_Lazarou Dont let that get in the way of an opportunity to patronise though.
  9. what do the stats tell us about the likehood of this occuring Nick?
  10. I didn't realise there was any doubt to be given the benefit of?
  11. Surely there is only one outstanding candidate for the guradian of this forum, careful, he'll accuse you of something for not agreeing with him... Spurs DONT have a problem, there was a whole thread on this a week or so ago and i'm not going to go into it all again although you are welcome to dig it up. As for you acusing me of isms, i presume you are talking about the EDL thread, read it careful, i neither condemn nor condone them, all i say is in you peoples liberal world, they are quite rightly, entitled to a voice as much as anyone. As for my avatar i'm not going to justify it to people as they will, like yourself draw their own conclusions, ironic really that those that spout liberalism and equality are the first to jump to conclusion based on their own ignorance, when this is exactly the thing they claim to depise.
  12. You lack of conviction in your beliefs offends me.
  13. Paranoid? I think you need to have a word with our all know, all seeing guardian of all things PC on this forum, who only last week accused me of being racist based on a combinaton of my avatar and me not thinking that there was a nationwide hatred of Jews at football matches in this country.
  14. I'll probably be accused of being racist again for mentioning this article.
  15. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/8994875.Musician_arrested_for_singing_Kung_Fu_fighting/ What next? Banning of singing tie me Kangeroo down sport in case it offends Aussies?
  16. Because you need to remember Griffo, that this forum is full of know it alls & done it alls, who do as i say not as i do and will take the moral high ground over any issue and come up with all sort of stats and quotes to prove you wrong. Yes running on the pitch is illegal, but so is driving at 71 mph on a motor way, all those banging the "it's illegal" drum should remember this and if they are so precious never break the speed limit again. Pitch invasions have been an end of season tradition for years when teams have won things, this will (hopefully) be our first promotion in many of our fans lifetimes after years of the club being in decline and something worth celebrating, it seems a lot dont seem to understand this.
  17. You clearly weren't one of the thousands that was on the pitch after the Arsenal game at the Dell, Sheffield United at home last day of 07/08 season, or the many times at the Dell in the 90's when pitch invasions were an end of season tradition. You stick to politely applauding in the stands and let those that enjoy celebrating on the pitch get on with it rather than taking the moral high ground.
  18. not forgetting also using them as an opportunity to make wild and unfounded acusations based on our own ignorance and arrogance and fail to back them up with any substance or evidence whatsoever when challanged too.
  19. They were at Parkway station when i was waiting for the train, i honestly though they were a load of students off to some wierd studenty fancy dress party. As for that red lycra suit, i saw those clowns in the toilets at half time, why?!!!
  20. why doesn't everyone just wear normal clothes rather than being exhibitionists?
  21. On their North Stand Chat forum the described saturday as "our cup final, which was obvious by the sold out away end" This despite their banners, music, programme changes and obviously gutted Gus Poyet at the end, lol!
  22. You're right, it's a very bad thing to finish games strongly. I'd rather we didn't have the points we got by scoring late against Brighton, Exeter, Bristol Rovers etc, we dont deserve them because the goals didn't come in the first half.
  23. I dont really understand all of this worst stadium stuff. I love all the old grounds regardless of how sh*t some people might think they are. They all have their own character and more interesting to go to than these identical, new stadiums with no character which are popping up everywhere where apart from the colour of the seats you could be anywhere in the country. I've enjoyed trips the last couple of season to places like Dagenham, Exeter & Swindon, some of these might feature highly on any "sh*t list" but for me each ground like that is a story, part of the away day something which you can remember clearly in the future. Like everyone going nuts on the away terrace at Exeter stood right behind the goal, hardly able to see when our 2nd goal went in, somehow it wouldn't have felt the same or been so memorable if i'd been say in a comfortable seat, high in the stands.
  24. It's difficult to draw an opinon over a player over 5 minutes of highlights, you can only do it over a full 90's minutes.
  25. I have to say i find this whole "Yid" thing bizarre. How many people are aware of any sort of racial agenda towards Jews at football? They might argue they are raising awareness of it but when was the last time, if ever a Jewish player was subject to "show us your foreskin, traa laa laa laa laa" chants or pelted with skull caps from the terraces? I can honestly say i've never heard any anti sematic comments, let alone chants at football and this includes England and Leeds games as well as i've been to see them regularly in the past. A Yid chant at Tottenham fan is exactly the same using Skate, Scummer, Vermin etc. I just think they are creating a problem when there isn't really one.
