  1. 35,000 that were at Wembley for the JPT final could well be.
  2. He got a new bird and stopped going to football. At least he had the decency to do that rather than let her trapse along behind him to matches, he may be a pussy but at least he is one with ethics.
  3. There are no more barriers to cross. All I have in common with the uncontrollable and the insane, the vicious and the evil, all the mayhem I have caused and my utter indifference toward it I have now surpassed. My pain is constant and sharp and I do not hope for a better world for anyone, in fact I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape, but even after admitting this there is no catharsis, my punishment continues to elude me and I gain no deeper knowledge of myself; no new knowledge can be extracted from my telling. This confession has meant nothing
  4. same as, i like what he has said so far. Time will tell.
  5. i'd like to see Immats Bledilis come back, he was very under rated. As was Sergi Gotsmanov.

or we are operating in our means and not squandering money.
  7. Jimmy Bullard, Geremi, Daniel Couzen and Ven Gor of Heselink (sp) FFS Cortese.
  8. Yep, them and the Wednesday. Not us.
  9. surely with all your travelling of the world you'd be able to recomend a player or two Jaime?
  10. i take it you dont like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. Listen to Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.
  11. I do, it comes from one the ones that are unrealistic and deluded. Who think just because we may have a few quid we should offer every player and manager we want Man City wages and everyone in the world wants to join us.
  12. I hope you let her give you a blow job when you got home too.
  13. Agree on Hamburg, went there for a couple of days a few years ago, and the Reeperbahn, is a great crack in more ways than one.
  14. i think he needs to get Trinny and Suzannah in, he looks a bit to much like a history teacher for my liking.
  15. It seems this 'joke' is lost on most of you.

    Poll please

can you make sure you have three options. Yes, No and Dont Know, for all the idiots, of which there are many, that fail to have an opinion when there are only two options and in that case shouldn't be responding to the poll anyway.
  18. that is the problem, for a lot of the clowns on here you have to spell everything out to them, incapable of grasping even the most basic concepts.
  19. not planning on spending long in each place then Dog?
  20. the wit, humour and hilairty on this thread are on another level.
  21. Fonte, Harding, Jaidi, Butterfield, Barnard????
  22. you can be sure that most of us wont have heard of any of them, but when we are linked with them there will either be uproar that they aren't good enough or we should definitely sign them as they are the new Maradona.
  23. not trying to split hairs but i think that bit is more confidence and belief in their and their team mates ability rather than motivation. But yes you are right, proffesional sportsmen should be amoungst the most highly driven and self motivated people on the planet but sadly it often doesn't seem to be the case.
  24. Take it he is not fitting in then.
  25. Of course you do, but the players performances have been lame at best. There was no fight against Rochdale and by the sounds of it, none yesterday either. This is not acceptable whoever is in charge. The team we have put out the last 3 games have conceded six and scored none, they are underperforming massively, whoever the manager players are accountable for their own performance, which hasn't been good enough. Or prehaps you disagree and think the s*it they have been serving is fine and Nigel Adkins can wave his magic wand and they will all become brilliant overnight.
