Exactly. For clubs like saints the premier league is shit. Build a decent team and it get picked apart by bigger clubs with much more money, the aim is simply to stay in the league every year, pretty miserable if you ask me. at least in the championship it’s more of a level playing field, yes there are the parachute payments which give relegated clubs a big advantage for a couple of years but with a month left of the season to go 2/3s of the league have something to play for, either automatic promotion, a push for the play offs or avoiding the drop. Plus even bottom half teams have won 14 or 15 games this season, it’ll be nice to win a few for a change

Absolutely and exactly what I am getting at. We need to turn that around before worrying about we’re winning playing slick stylish football. The new manager has a big job on his hands to turn around a club that is used to losing, hopefully a lot of those responsible will be gone over the summer but im more interested with substance over style at the moment given we’ve about 65% of our games the last five years

Honestly I am a little bit surprised at tall the bleating about the style of play. This club has won six games out of 37 this season and got knocked out of the cup by a league two side. There can’t be a team in the country that have won fewer games than us over the last five years. I want us to get back to winning more than we lose for a bit and then worry about if we do it in style when we’ve stopped being tonked every week

Difficult one. stick by your friend, we’ve all had that mate that’s a liability and you just want to fuck off but have a loyalty too even though they act like a knob and put you in difficult situations over and over again.
