Finally got revenge for 1984!

Likes and lols will always be the true benchmark of success. Some of the oddest posters on here have started threads with hundreds of posts. As we know threads can go off on a tangent and have multiple discussions within a thread. The measure of success as a poster is how many likes and lols you get and if you can repeat that consistently, kind of like your run rate and your highest individual score. For that im this forums love child of Don Bradman and Sachin Tendaulkar

Howards Way on U&Drama at the moment. Terrible program but some great old shots of Southampton, just had them below bar with the Bargate in the background, Lloyds bank, must be over 40 years old?

Talking of Vlogs what happened to that little gimp that used to do one? Not seen him spouting off for a while. I think we need more aggression coming from the Northam. It's alright singing songs about hating Pompey but when was the last time we told a ginger player they looked like a wotsit? When did we last tell a slightly overweight player they ate all the pies? There is nothing that upsets an athlete more than being fat shamed by some obese middle aged bloke with a football shirt over a hoodie and their massive gut protruding over their shit trainers. If we got get that sort of venom back in our fan base rather than polite booing St Marys might turn into more of an intimidating environment for away players.

What about what you see with your eyes? Like for example he was at fault for Oxfords winner, Birminghams goal and 2 out of 4 on sunday. So basically 4 of our last 7 goals have been Baz errors. Here's a stat that proves what our eyes tell us. He conceded 4 goals from 5 shots on sunday, the only one he saved he palmed it out directly to their striker who scored from that. How anyone can defend him beggars belief.

There were some on here that believed the reason for our poor home form was because the away fans were in the Northam. If we had a Kop end we could drown out the away fans and turn SMS into a cauldron of noise where we would become invincible. I guess this is all part of the great fix and will come?

It’s in the echo https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/25741876.angry-southampton-supporter-details-five-steps-right-direction/?fbclid=IwZnRzaAPJz-dleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEe0p6qjhWzUNHSykjzC4LGSDIeIjHhSuMoChEVmc8keKOhI_idlKa1es0-FcA_aem__p5WiP6uJphZOU4O6p-btg Move the away fans next to the Northam? I thought they being there was part of the problem?

Hasn't that been the way of the club for years though? You can go back to the days when Koeman left and Les Reed thought he'd found the magic formula, his quotes about Leicester copying us when they won the league etc, right through to now. There has been an arrogance about this club for years that we do things differently, that we're somehow above signing experienced players and getting the basics right before all this out of the box shit.

Chatgpt seems to think he needs a loan but is potentially a good championship striker. Maybe we are using chatgpt for our transfer business? 🟢 Potentially a very useful pro striker: He has physical traits, a scoring history in Germany, and international experience — all positives for growth. 🔴 Needs time and right environment: The transition to English football has been tough, and his current form doesn’t yet reflect his underlying potential. ⚖️ Long-term outlook: If he adapts, finds scoring form and continues developing, he could become a strong Championship/second-tier forward or even a top-division contributor. If not, he may plateau as a squad player or need a strategic loan to regain confidence and form.

Quite probably. At least they've acted and we've got the Right to Dream guy in now, too late for Downs sadly but might save some of the others.

Just better than shit would be an improvement

TBF though as club captain you're probably pissing in the wind with the incomptence around you, from the top right down. When the bloke at the top of the tree is an absolute joke who thinks he can reinvent football and surrounds himself with yes men a guy on the shop floor is not going to convince someone who thinks he's a genius that he's wrong. Imagine working for a company where pretty much every decision the leaders got was wrong over a period of years which had seen every area of the company deteriorate to very poor levels and you're the ones going out and taking all the shit from the customers. I agree with Fitz here, JS might not be the best but there are far bigger problems at this club than him. I expect he'll be one of those that doesnt really get appreciated until he leaves

Protecting our investment Thinking of the future resell value His luck will turn soon

You’ve got to remember he’s had a lot of bad luck.

Correct we were awful

Yes you’re right they were all signed before he was here. we had our fair share of duds under him though Djenepo, Diallo, Perrard, Lyanco plus the disastrous summer 2022 Ralph actually did a remarkable job considering the hand he was dealt. I know he lost a lot of credit due to the 9-0s but when you consider what followed he did so well

I went there in the championship season under Adkin’s so don’t even have the new ground reason to go. It going to be freezing so I’ll pass. Apathy reigns in my house

I wouldn’t say that. We had to sell to buy for years. We had to pay Carrillo to leave, Hoedt, Lemina and a few others were forever loaned out and sold at a loss, Elyanoussi left on a free incredible that no one would pay a fee for an attacking player who was at his best when he didn’t have the ball. These are just a few of the dross we struggled to clear out and those 4 alone cost us £65m and we probably didn’t even make 15% of that back

Used to finish posts saying things like Love and light It was one of Glasgows user names, who also no longer posts. Guess the momentum curve swang too far for him

Do you think a police spokesman would says "im not surprised, it's hell down there and has been for years"
