  1. I didn’t need my awareness raising thanks all the same
  2. Just thinking that looks a class act.
  3. He was the hipsters choice for saints manager c2014 I believe.
  4. Jesus Wept. Ukraine and knee before kick off, now we’ve got namesless shirts to raise awareness of dementia. A never ending conveyor belt of nonsense
  5. Nods vigorously in agreement
  6. Had a period when he was at spurs where he was arguably the best player in the world at the time. Got his move to Real but never hit those heights again. Strong, powerful, quick, he had it all but never quite hit the heights he could have consistently. What a discovery by Redknapp, finding him and turning him from a left back into a magnificent player
  7. Given the theme seems to be bravery I fully expect it to be some virtue signalling nonsense with LGBTs and so on interviewed about how brave they have to be with a rainbow kit or something nauseating
  8. Surely the best front page ever
  9. No one will take Walcott, we are stuck with him for another season. We might get a small fee for Djenepo as hes got a year left and no doubt on big wages compared to the sort of club who’d want him. I’m up in the air on Elyanoussi looked like a joke of a player when he first joined and eight months or so in 4 years of adequate don’t make him a a nailed on extension. Maybe an extra year or two rather than a long term deal but if we can get a decent fee I think we’d take it
  10. We had quite a few blue away kits in the 80s and early 90s. Some of them very smart.
  11. Yes he ticks a lot of boxes at 24 he's young for a centre back, he's definitely Hungary in more ways than one and therefore guarenteed to massively improve
  12. this was the away kit that season IIRC.
  13. Heard his just taken his anger out by doing 10 handstand push ups
  14. No one had heard of Broja or Livermento this time last year, now they are considered two rising stars. If we dont get Broja then i'm sure our socuting team already eyeing the next one we can bring in. We seem to be doing a little bit better than the days of Carillo and Hoedt.
  15. Middlesbourgh at home that season, 2-0 up in the last minute and still managed to draw 2-2. We were such a gutless team that season, absolutely no bottle. The look of frightened rabbits in the tunnel before the game at Fratton Park was shameful. People criticise players like Danny Fox but him standing in front of the West Stand at Fratton staring into the crowd totally unmoved whilst they were giving it heaps will always make him a hero in my eyes.
  16. Signing Dave Jones mate Paul Jones was ridiculous when we already had Taylor at the club
  17. Boruc was better as well. i do agree with your second point though, unless you’re signing proven quality which we can’t afford it’s a gamble and the idea we can just let him go and sign better for less is naive. We might do but it’s a risk. In truth there are very few decent keepers out there these days. I’m not exactly inspired by signing the West Brom keeper as a replacement.
  18. Mcguire and Kanes sole role in this international break is to tap up our players. Other clubs know we are weak and will take the first offer we get so once they have found out for the first time how much better it is elsewhere all that's need is a low bid to close the deal.
  19. Harry Redknapp tells a Reporter to "F*ck Off" - Tottenham - YouTube sure does
  20. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOgTCbz-XmU I love this clip
  21. Chat shit get banged bruv
  22. One-upmanship, where? He gives it large a lot, made a number of personal digs at me thorughout this thread, if people cant take it dont dish it out.
  23. Read the whole thread mate, he was giving it large for ages.
  24. It is a wierd one as i seem to remember him being quite popular when he joined, mainly because he got thrown into the team and everyone hated Hoedt and no one rated Yoshida and Stephens. Since then his popularity has dropped and seems to be one of the whipping boys. Hes an adequate squad player at best but like you say, for £5m a decent signing who did a job when thrust into the team.
  25. Congratulations to the lad, been great since he joined us. Shame there is such competition for his postion as he surely would have had far more caps by now. Especially as some of them are very overated.
