  1. Good piece on the spurs situation and remarkably similar to ours. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/nov/19/tottenham-hotspur-mauricio-pochettino-exit-route#top
  2. Pochetino will be available soon, unfinished business or should I say, asuntos pendientes
  3. You are of course correct but whist we’ve spent money we’ve only spent what we’ve made from sales, when it worked well it was brilliant and I’m delighted with that model, sell Lallana, buy Mane, sell Lovren by Van dijk both for half the price, love it. But now when there are glaring holes in our squad and we still have to sell to buy, but the difference is we can’t sell, quite rightly saints fans are now asking how it is that Newcastle, Brighton, Bournemouth, palace etc can all spend tens of millions more than they’ve earned. I’ve not seen in person give a credible reason, it gets put down as agents fees and bonuses which is quite frankly utter sh*t as every other club had to pay them as well.
  4. I know if we go down we are screwed, we will be in administration again within three years, unless someone saves us. Goa is seriously bad news for us, that much has been obvious since day one.
  5. LOL, here we go again agents fees, bonuses NI contributions etc. If we genuinely have no money after 5 years of being the only club to make a profit from player trading the level of incompetence of those running the club beggars belief.
  6. That rumour was on facebooks Goa out group with people saying many protest might jeopardise the money available. It’s got to be BS, no way will we have to sell to buy in August then goa finds £75m down the back of his futon.
  7. It was okay, much better than that biased McIntyre nonsense a few years ago. Good to see a few saints faces give a bit more balance, although of course it contained a lot of the usual stuff about what a tough, fighting town Pompey is. The thing that always amuses me is how Pompey always go on about saints never do anything against Pompey but then they always go on about what carnage it is when we play them, so they totally contradict themselves.
  8. I don’t think we actually know each other but ages ago someone told me your Real name (which I’ve forgotten) and we knew quite a few of the same people in real life.
  9. He’s fine. Got the all clear on cancer a few years ago and now spends most of his time in Lycra somewhere in the midlands.
  10. Why lie? Why not give his view on Palestine? Why pretend he never said it?
  11. I met Lowe once, the only thing I remember about it was he had bad halitosis
  12. Thanks, I consider that a medal of honour.
  13. “The cat” is vaguely tolerable. I walked back to station with him after another loss at Burnley a few years ago I met baldbarbarian in Amsterdam before vitesse Arnhem he was a great lad You’re obviously a proper helmet.
  14. Yeah it is, glad we both agree a senior labour front bencher is liar. Perhaps, but it’s yet another example fo an anti-Jewish undertone in labour. We all know what happened last time a government with anti Semitic agenda got into power.
  15. He already gave it. He said it was the enemy of peace. Then he denied he said it and that it wasn’t his view. So on which occasion was he lying?
  16. He didn’t want to avoid it when he was saying Zionism was the enemy of peace. Bit strange to then deny he said it and claim it wasn’t his view when he could easily have just put the record straight.
  17. Why didn’t he say that then? Instead He denied he’d said it and claimed it wasn’t his view.
  18. Yes you’re right about this but generally when people refer to Zionist they’re talking about Jews in Israel and the vast majority of the Zionist movement was made up of Jews. So yes you could be a Jew and not a Zionist and there maybe a tiny percentage of Zionists that aren’t Jews but the realiaty is only someone looking for an excuse would be so desperate as to claim he didn’t mean Jews when he said Zionist. https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/a-definition-of-zionism
  19. Yes they do. So what’s your point?
  20. Just left Cardiff, coincidence?
  21. I think we share quite a few mutual acquaintances in real life so not beyond the realms of possibility it’s already happened or at least been in the same place at the same time.
  22. When was this?!
  23. That would be class. We could reminisce about great threads of the past, all the good posters who don’t bother any more and you can see why. We could all wear saints shirts with our login names on the back so we could all recognise each other. I couldn’t think of anything I’d rather do pre-Match than meet up with you lot.
  24. Was he wearing Lonsdale trainers, badly fitting stress look jeans, a grey hoodie under the shirt and didn’t look he’d washed for a week? if so, yes, that’s me.
