Adding 13,000 seats would cost around £40m which has already been stashed away from transfer profits the last two seasons. What we should do is add those seats to SMS and make all tickets £15. That way we'd definitely sell out every week and attract fans all across the south of England who want to see premier league football. Plus we'd sell more hot dogs and kit Kats so commercial income would go up as well. I'm can't really see a downside. it begs the question would 45,000 be enough? There is huge catchment area to tap into.

Do you think perhaps it would be a good idea to expand to 45,000 and make ticket prices significantly cheaper so as to attract casual fans from the line which runs from London, through Birmingham up to Liverpool which we along with Bournemouth and Swansea are the only premier league clubs below? Or how about some inventive pricing models, easyjet seem to be the masters of that maybe we could take some guidence from them.

Quite. Was this forum needs is more quality posters like yourself who make jokes about ****ging peoples dead mum and have illiterate, drunken, foul mouthed rants at 1am in the morning.

What a load of sh*t this place has become. Dull as fook threads, no humour, no edge. Just helmets talking bo llocks with each other nodding along in agreement at the amazing threads like who do yet want to win out of Bompey (insert face palm) and Pompey. Still the mods and the divs got the forum they wanted, dishing out infractions to anyone that dared to have have an opinion different to the mainstream one. Since the old Saintsforever shut down this place has always been full of wallies but at least it was a bit of laugh then. Now its dull thread after dull thread complete bo llocks after nonsense spouted, helmet after imbicile. A forum dominated by people like Adriansfc and Vectis. No wonder the good posters don't bother anymore and you can see why!

This is a lot of nonsense really. In reality there are about 6-8 teams who are "proper top flight" ie who have pretty much always always been there rarely if ever relegated. Then a load of other teams, probably 25 or so who could all make a case to be "proper top flight" it depends how you measure it. Saints for example have spent more time in top flight since the early 90s than Leeds and Blackburn but they've both won it since then and finished higher than we ever have on several occasions. So do you judge it on time served or success? Swansea have spent more time in top flight than forest in the last 10 years but forest are clearly a bigger club so who is the "proper top flight" out of them? Some have mentioned Sheffield United but they've only spent 6 seasons in top flight in the last 40 years, how are they more deserving than Coventry City who have spent 24 years in top flight in the same period? So like a said, outside of the top 6-8 or so there are probably 25 or so clubs who could claim they're a premier league club.

Oh dear you boys are for it now, Vectis still hasn't forgiven me for saying I didn't rate Tandari Lee, he said I was racist and didn't like him because he was Japanese. Stand by for a volley of abuse and constant snide comments for years now you've slammed another one of our Japanese players.

You've raised an interesting point here. As our song came from the church, indeed our origins are from religious backgrounds then we have a number of issues. Is OWTSGMI offensive to non Christians? It certainly could be and perhaps explains the lack of Muslims that follow the club. If you are an atheist is it hypocritical to support a team with such deep ties with religion who even takes their nickname and songs from the church?

Devil in your shoes - Man United Baggie trousers - west brom Under the blade - Sheffield united Guess that's why they call it the blues - various clubs Chelsea dagger - Dagenham and Redbridge Diamonds and pearls - rushden and diamonds The eagle has landed - palace If I had hammer - West Ham The lion sleeps tonight - millwall I'm sure there are plenty more

I think "we sing songs that are sh*tter variants of songs sung by other clubs or anything to the tune of sloop john b" x 3 would be more appropriate. As for I'm forever blowing bubbles in the OP as has been said saints used to sing a version of that.
-
Well good on you pal as its clearly worked for you. Have you lost all that weight and able to run that just from starting in June? That's a great effort. I think I just got bored with hearing all these idiots boasting about how many steps they've done and the endless conversations about how many steps "blobby" had done and so on. How people who had never done a days exercise in their life suddenly thought they were experts on the subject. I suppose if it gets people off their arses its not a band thing.

Isn't it great to have all this depth and options? So much so that the First choice striker for Italy is fourth choice at saints. With that in mind would you go as far as to say with that sort of depth the squad is better than last year Brett?
-
You can't expect to sell your best players every summer and. Oh wait...

How's that relegation prediction coming on pal?

Wasn't crook one of Corteses boys?
-
:lol: The south coast football expert. Tweeted less than 14 hours before the signing was announced.:lol:
-
Oh come on Connor you can't tell us you learnt nothing from Mr Crook!! From the outside looking in you appear to be the sorcerers apprentice, his mentee, if you are luke he is yoda. Surely it can't just be coincidence that one of your finest attributes as a budding journalist is a knack of seeing news stories elsewhere then passing it off as your own, something Mr crook also excels in. As has already been mentioned on here talksports south coast football expert excelled himself at the weekend by tweeting saints not in for Charlie Austin less than 24 hours before he signed. I'm stunned you didn't break this exclusive on here!! What happened with your shoot Column by the way?!!
-
Ahh so that's what Sibley does now. I'd been wondering about what his new role was post Cortese as presumably there was no one needed to run the new CEOs baths and collect their lunch and dry cleaning. The boy has done well for himself.
-
So to summarise Dave is saying a club will buy players to suit the suit the tactics they want to play.
-
You're optimistic. That equal to 28 league goals in a season, not many do that. If he gets between 7 or 8 it'd be a decent return.
-
Oh hungerford is wonderful Its full of rivers, fields and mass murderers Oh hungerford is wonderful
-
So about JWP then, contribute FA doesn't he?
-
So 14th place last season then, 13th or 14th the seasons before that. Which is equal to or better than our highest ever finish when the greatest chairman who ever lived was in charge.
-
We had a different manager, coaching staff and chairman the January before Long signed, maybe he want a target then, perhaps? I know you get very upset about the transfer fee and like to whine about it at every opportunity you get but for once Mr Wrong is correct, £12m ain't a lot of money for a premier league striker with his experience whether you like it or not.
-
Don't Poch and Klopp know how terrible he is? They need to read the experts on here view before they think about wasting money on him.

Saints have £12.7m bid for Stefano Sturaro rejected by Juventus
Turkish replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
He's not the right signing for us. Too expensive, he wont fit into the default cheap replacement not as good as the player he's come in for default mongboard mode.
