Amazing how long these things take. Debut at Arsenal most likely I guess. With the ACON this winter too we probably won't see the best of him until next season.

Kevin Davies' Top Ten Football Grounds

What a place that was. Everytime there was a goal in a big game it felt like it was going to collapse! Has anyone got that photo of I think Cantona getting a ton of abuse in one of those Utd games of the 90s? -
Well none of the others disappeared, just Mane.
-
Exactly - and it was different to the other players who had no photos. They just missed the photoshoot because either they hadn't signed (most of them) or were not actively involved at the time (Schneiderlin). Those profiles were still there but with silhoutetted photos. Mane's profile was there, the same as the others, and then was missing so was either removed, or some kind of techincal hitch occured, and is now back, and hopefully tomorrow RK will say he is available for selection because he looks a really exciting player. Interesting that he is the type that the FA intent to make it slightly more difficult to sign in future. They probably used Mayuka as a case study!

Would make perfect sense with Mane coming in.
-
Maybe there was a problem with the paperwork of the signing? Afterall, he never actually came over to England. He definitely did have an OS profile before. If he had been training they would surely have posted a photo of him.

Steve de Ridder lookalike of a keeper messes it up!
-
Wonder if his work permit has been received? Sometimes they take ages.
-
Interesting that the tweet is still there, i.e he hasn't bothered to delete it. I guess it would make little difference as its been and gone now, but interesting still. Brilliant attitude this season though and is really improving as an allround player. If he could get 10 midfield goals this season then he will probably have his pick of the top European clubs come next summer, and no Saints fan, nor probably the club, would begrudge him that chance.
-
He is a good player and will end up doing a great job for them. Lets just move on.
-
Assume Mane will have sorted his paperwork out in time for this one...surely?

Could have been Koeman we were facing on Saturday: http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ronald-koeman-links-disrespectful-insists-6823567

Cork said there has been no talks and from his comments it seems to be from the club's side rather than his.
-
Koeman said on Solent after the game that Jay should be back in 2 and a half months which is pretty much December. Would be good to get him up to speed for when Mane goes to the ACON.

Superb win, hard to find any fault and all new signings were great. I think somehow Mike Williamson was even worse this year than he was last. Must be the worst centre half in the PL by my reckoning.
-
Looks a real prospect. If he has an injury free season then next year he could be around the first team squad.
-
Good he scored. Bad that his season will be disrupted and he will miss games for us, most likely.
-
I was saying yours is the only one that says him name correctly. The others rhyme it with name with is wrong. Like rhyming Hooiveld with Graham. It is Mah-nay, not Main.
-
Has everyone on SW donated at least a pound? If you haven't then why not?
-
About the only one that actually pronounces his name correctly.

Reckon it has probably dropped a bit to be fair. Got rid of our known biggest earners Osvaldo and Ramirez. I would be amazed if any of the new signings are on anything close to what they were. In addition I would think the likes of Lovren, Lallana and Lambert did pretty well for themselves. In terms of the new boys, many came from leagues where the pay is very low by PL standards (Scotland, NL, Austria, Romania etc), so they could treble their wages and still be on far less than 50k a week. Financially, it has certainly been a good summer, and certainly there is point paying players like Ramirez 60k a week if they don't start ever. If you are going to do that, then you might as well pay your best player 100k a week as by comparison they will have earned it.

Interesting comments from his people... As for Saphir Taïder, his camp said that he was promised Morgan Schneiderlin's place on arrival. Taïder didn't want to wait for playing time
-
Ha. Im not dooming. Just saying how good Clyne is and after losing all our other England players I would rather he has nothing to do with it all. Better off (for us) resting.
-
Lets hope he continues to go under the radar somewhat and more importantly that we sign him up to a new contract or it will be him leaving next summer.
