I don't have an anti-Beattie agenda, I really don't. But looking at that picture and reading the bit in bold... Are you saying he pulled him away by his throat then? Bit OTT. I can't imagine someone the size and strength of Beattie would need to put much effort in to pull him to one side, so choosing to do so by his neck is to my mind pretty damn violent. And anyway, hands raised, red card. He's been in the game a while now, he'd know that better than most. Sorry but he's not exactly coming up well out of all this.

Sorry but where is the attack? I quite agree that he was.

The bit in bold suggests that it was a possibility, or likely. I don't think for one split second that it ever was.

I've had three landline phone calls today in the space of about 20 minutes to half an hour, in which I pick up and there's a slow continuous beeping. I've tried 1471 and the number is always withheld. The first time it happened I thought it was just some telemarketing company or something so I thought no more about it, but it's happened twice more now and I'm getting a bit paranoid. The third time, I let it beep a few times before pressing a number, it immediately decided to hang up. In addition to that, as soon as I put the phone down it rang again, but this time a woman answered and said "Oh hello is... Um, er, oh... Scaz (?) there?". I said no, to which she replied "Oh I must have the wrong number". I said no problem, she said bye and hung up. I did 1471, no number given, weird but not unheard of for what sounded like a local landline number. I also called someone between the second and third calls and when I did 1471 to double check, I was told I'd been called a minute ago - but I was on the phone at the time. So have they called four times or is something wrong there? As I say, I'm getting a bit paranoid, the wrong number could be completely innocent of course but I've seen 'Defence of the Realm' too many times and worry I'm being bugged or something. Anyone got any suggestions or ideas?

Not a bad theory actually, but would I take a fully fit and interested Sylvan Ebanks-Blake? Maybe, he did well for Wolves and Plymouth at this level. From what I've heard and seen though he's a rather cumbersome fellow and it's not all muscle.

Tastes nice though.
