Has anyone actually seen Matt Targett play and give us an informed opinion? He's played for the England U19s I think so he must have talent...on second thoughts having talent isn't necessarily a pre-requisite for England is it? But I digress, seriously though, it would be good to think he can step up, if not now, in a year or so.

Good, fair analysis of the season - leaves us all fearing Pochettino going then players questioning the ambition of the club and following suit. If we can keep this squad together with two or three quality additions then we can conceivably go higher. The board has had a full week since the last game to decide if we're going to push on - this coming week should see some sort of announcement - let's hope it's a positive one.

My feelings exactly. I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would want him to leave. If he goes then the whole thing is in danger of falling apart. I can't imagine all of this OTT criticism is making a positive impression on him about English football either - everyone needs to back off and let him get on with the job. He knows what he's doing.

Quite agree, everyone should stay in their seat until the final whistle blows... then I'd get a clear run at getting out of the ground early, back to my car and away before the rest of the numpties jam up the town. Sweet.
