No, just 80% of football fans
-
Yes but mine turned up on time - the others missed the bus - quite honestly I wonder if they have anything upstairs.
-
I like them - I think they're just the ticket and gives people a platform to express themselves. They certainly ring my bell.
-
Peter Osgood and I went to different schools together - fact.
-
An obvious one that would work well is My Sharona - it's played before every game so everyone should know it. Doodoo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doodoo doo doodoo doo doo doo doo doo My/Our Southampton - or it could be used for one of the players. Kelvin Davis scans as does Oscar Gobern if he ever becomes popular enough! Aaron Martin works too I'm sure others do too!

How mature of you -
He took over when the players were at their lowest and turned it around - has to take all the plaudits for what he's done. Well done Nigel, Captain Cliche (can't put the accent on!)
-
Yes but the point is the club are saying we should!
-
The9 is totally correct - Brentford play in red and white stripes - so why deck our fans out in red and white? At the cup final against Arsenal did we all go in red and white? No, we went in yellow and sang for the yellows. Red and white at Brentford is akin to our supporters singing "Come on you reds" at home when the opposition are in all red!
-
Yes can still remember trudging dejectedly away from Highbury after that semi-final with my nephew. Lawrie Mac made a big mistake in playing Stevie Williams that day. By the way and going off topic, I rate him as second only to Le Tiss as Saints all time greatest. (My time that is)
-
He might reply, but I doubt if you'll get a phone call or a meeting.
-
Just send "Dear Mr Thompson" and "I look forward to hearing from you soon," as they are only sensible bits. I can just imagine Mark Thompson phoning you or arranging a meeting with you to discuss this - in your dreams.

Orient V Saints,post match celebrations...

We can afford to lose two of our last 7 - and with our superior goal difference could draw one too and still go up! Nervy game but well pleased with the result. -
Have they moved? Last I heard they were in Scotland.
-
How can getting into the play offs be the most probable way of achieving promotion? We all know it's a lottery and anything can happen in these games. We have to go all out for 2nd now.
-
You can see the future after it's happened - amazing! Did you have a bet on?

Oldham V Saints - Post Match Celebration Thread

Just had to share this snippet from Sky's live commentary : 90 mins "Neither team can gain control of the match." Brilliant win - different class -
What's fair about that? If you can't get to the Carlisle game you're stuffed aren't you? I'm certainly not going to pay for a match I can't attend so it looks like the telly for me.

Shrews ticket prices (and SFC dig at them too!)
Steeleye Saint replied to Pancake's topic in The Saints
Quite agree with this - looks to me like yet another PR gaffe. Are we trying to alienate everybody in football? -
My daughter wants to buy one but - guess what - they don't do a woman's shirt! Can you believe it? All the female Saints fans out there who would love a new shirt and they aren't making them for the!. Own goal here methinks.
-
Yes I agree about the booking fee - they want to encourage pre-booking but whack on a fee for doing it. Not everybody can get to the ticket office in the week - we don't all live in Southampton NC!
-
Thanks for the insight WC.
-
Murty looked class when he was playing and can still do a job in this Div.
-
Yes that really got up my nose too - also when the whole Northam and Kingsland corner chanted Pay Up Pompey at the cup game. Couldn't they see it sounded like Play up? While I'm ranting it p1sses me off that again the Northam spend so much energy on hate Pompey songs when they could be singing in support of the team. Do other clubs chant about their bitterest rivals during games?
