My daughter, who is coming down after work from London for the game tonight forgot to take her ticket this morning - I've phoned the ticket office to see about a replacement and the charge is £10! I think that is outrageous. Not a good PR move by the club. I'm afraid I see this club, when we get back to the Prem, overcharging in other ways too. If that happens then I'll walk away. There's bound to be some smart arse who says " She shouldn't have forgotten her ticket should she?" But for a little bit of cardboard and what, half a minute of someone's time is £10 justified?

Roy Hodgson speaks very highly of this man so don't get too smug too soon - negative comments like those above have a habit of coming back to bite.

I can never quite bring myself to hate them - that's a bit extreme I think, but then I suppose I'm not a proper Saints fan am I? People on here are saying they don't care about them, so why refer to them at every Saints game? Why give them a second thought? This "When I was just a little girl" nonsense is sung and "Stand up if you hate Pompey" when there are no Pompey fans in earshot. What's the point? I can understand it when we're playing against them but does it help our team? I don't think so. Our energies should be devoted to singing songs that drive our team on. I await your abuse.

Is everybody discounting Connolly as a striker option? He was pretty good at the tail end of the last season, and if he stays clear of injuries should show his class in the NPC. Great foil for Rickie I think.

Talking sense here - I'm not expecting immediate promotion - a season, or a half season to judge how far we can go with the current squad is logical to me.
