Ings and Adams work well in tandem….and this is where Walcott comes in,he plays so much better when those two are on the pitch together. I was hoping he would play tonight once Ings was in the squad. he really seems to assist them,which I would like to see more of. so I can see why we might keep him.

In any normal time I would be getting well and truly up for a semi final,as I have in years gone by whatever the competition......however,on this occasion I’m dreading it. I just can’t see past a another embarrassing loss. I’ve seen nothing,including the victories over Sheffield United and Burnley to convince me otherwise. In fact nothing positive for months. we are simply diabolical in pretty much all areas....on and off the pitch,players and coaching staff to the owner. just want this season over. oh how I’d love to be proved wrong.

I worked I some big hotels in London. I would say I needed to go to one of the rooms that was vacant and ask reception for an open line...and dial up via 9 for an outside line. nip back down to reception and get them to clear the switchboard for that room. I got away with it for years. I’m amazed they never wondered what the occasional 08 or 03 number was. it just got lost in the ether of a huge hotel. Cant believe I actually called that rubbish....but I wasn’t paying. 🤷🏻‍♂️
