  1. Victor Moses from Wigan.
  2. Well, i have recieved sporadic txts saying we are in for Jermaine Defoe........i can only put that down as absolute bollix.
  3. Mr A j Eagle lived in 13 Lyon Street,St Marys.
  4. Mr A J Eagle.......we could be relatives Alpine....
  5. A relative of mine is on that list.....after some research my mother did on our family history, i found out that one of the trimmers was a not so distant relative,i was only looking at his documents a while back. Nothing less than a tragedy.
  6. I echo these sentiments also. You might as well give up Alpine.....save yourself a fiver. If you don't tow the party line, you get lambasted. The views of some are so polarised it is astonishing. Quite a shame really.
  7. This tip was handy, cheers, the packaging was the same as yours so i was careful when opening. Did you place just the ipod itself in the bag....it does say that if you include wires etc they wont be returned. I was going to send it back in its original packaging with headphones and stuff but it seem you just place it in the padded bag and in the grey one also.
  8. Towards the bottom is where it states Nicola joined the board....27/10/11.....and when Katherina left..... http://www.moneyhouse.ch/en/p/Nicola-Cortese
  9. Wifag a subsidiary of the Mali group and has had to shed some jobs. Katherina is off the board at the Mali group.....Mr Cortese is on now on the board of the Mali group..... A rough translation.... Two days after the end of the consultation nobody could find out or it was unclear if the 50 employees of the Wifag-were still employed or unemployed. It looked like the owner of Mali International ag had decided to let the majority of them go. On Friday morning the employees were informed and 31 of them had to go straight away or had to sign their unemployment letters. Neither Katerina Liebherr or Nicola Cortese were present during the firing of these employees but it looks like she gave Cortese the responsibility for carrying out these actions. After the surprising death of Marcus Liebherr 14 months ago, his daughter Katerina and the whole team tried to continue the business in Bern in the manner he undertook it. In the last few months it became apparent that Mali could no longer deliver Marcus's plans for the site. An employee said " all that stuff about the chicken". There wasn't any sign of entrepreneurial flair subsequent to his death and two people have attempted to be the leaders of the group but haven't been successful at it since Marcus died. It is said that the whole Mali group maybe broken up (and presumably sold on if profitable?). There seems to be very little left of Marcus's life work except a few patents and the money he earned. Next on the site in Bern two other daughter companies in Beringen also had numerous redundancies made but nobody at the Mali group wanted to comment on this." If someone wishes to translate in a better way than the above, fill your boots.......... http://www.derbund.ch/wirtschaft/unternehmen-und-konjunktur/Mali-verteilt-Kuendigungen-und-schweigt/story/25158017 This is either very concerning or completely irrelevant to SFC,make up your own mind....Mr Cortese is far more involved in the Mali group than i thought.
  10. solentsport BBC Radio Solent #saintsfc- reports that Japanese striker Tadanari Lee flew in yesterday to sign 2 & 1/2 year deal, and will double wages to £800,000 P/A
  11. Leicester have just had a bid turned down for sharp.
  12. On the contrary,i want success at SFC and i don't care who makes that happen,be it Adkins or someone else.......Just because i don't fawn over every utterance Adkins makes,or agree with everything he does does not mean i want him to fail......do you seriously think any Saints supporter wants that? You can think what you like of me(if you don't follow the train of thought of others on here you get called abusive names) i'm not overly bothered. I think you, like others, on here show their true colours by not being able stand any critisim of Adkins. The love in with him has/is been nauseating. But that dosen't mean i want failure to be brought to the club i love. Problems need to be addressed,i don't see him doing that in the 6 games or so.....hence questions should be asked......and i hope he is asking questions of himself, otherwise he will fail and hit the brick wall, like he has in the past.
  13. A very good post indeed. Someone else who dares to ask questions of the happy clappers.
  14. Don't go on about Cork.......Cork had already been here, and from what i am led to believe he took very little persuasion to return. So Fox and Hoilveld are seemingly good aquisitions....and the rest of his signings? mediocre?...mediocrity in the Premiership will get you nothing. Lets see what he does this window.
  15. Well,he is at a club geared up to go further now,but as you stated he has not been at a club that can set it's sights higher than a S****horpe that hit a brick wall....so can he match our ambitions or is he going to falter, time will tell, but to those who still maintain he is all conquering and beyond reproach as they were when he was first installed,i think you should take a step back and wait for him to really achieve something on his own merits. I don't want him to fail, just put him into prospective eh..... Something is still far from perfect.....even though many think Adkins is perfection personified. I have not been wrong for about a year,at this moment my concerns are coming to the forefront....**** poor away from, and yet to convince me he can operate in a transfer window, bloody hell,Forte,Bignall,N'guessan,De Ridder...FFS...so very mediocre. and the fall out with Puncheon this should have been put to bed for the better of the club, these are mistakes......our recent performances both home and away have been less than convincing. So to all those convinced he is the messiah.....put a bit of balance on it.He makes mistakes, but some of you are so blind to them it is incredible. We are stuttering along, not marching on convincingly at all.So very lucky that many of the chasing pack are **** poor. We are top of the league, well done, but the job has hardly started.
  16. Done, all seems straight forward,Mine passed the serial number check, just have to wait for them to send the packaging apparently. We will see what transpires.
  17. This has been my fear, all very well what he did at scunny...took them far then hit a brick wall, and became almost uneffectual.....hence my slight reservations on occasion with him. Here's hoping i am sincerely wrong.
  18. I think i will make a judgment on how good he is until i see him in the flesh......cue all the 'best of' youtube clips......we know how well that often pans out, don't we. Here's hoping he will live up to the billing he appears to have by many on here already.
  19. Very, very disappointed in the result. Something is not quite right at the moment,it may be something small but our performances have tailed of recently. We have been relying heavily on our home form as our away form is not impressive at all, especially of late. We were going to lose at home at some stage, just a shame we could not have gone 201 unbeaten.....so close which makes last nights result even more galling. One positive it will highlight that somethings needs to be addressed.....the transfer window opens and this needs to be utilised...and not left to the last minute either. Time to be decisive as possible Adkins/Cortese......i just hope Adkins has pinpointed the things/areas that need to be addressed.....bit of a test for him and his true calibre, which to be fair he has gone unscathed thus far...except some of his transfer/loans,Forte,Bignall,N'guessan.
  20. This is one of my selection and my favourite and the most pricey iirc. I want a Jacob & Co watch when i am a millionaire.
  21. Well i took a punt on this and it is superb. Simple to connect up and very easy to switch between external souces,Xbox, sky DVD etc. Full HD freeview...although i have sky HD anyhow, plenty of HDMI,SCART AND USB ports. Sound is very good as well as picture quality. Looks gorgeous and the swivel stand is handy. For 42 inch it is slimline and not too bulky at all. I am happy to pay the price it was up for. Value for money i think and that is what counts at the mo in my book.
  22. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5297571/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHome+entertainment+and+sat+nav%7C14419512/c_2/2%7C14419512%7CTelevisions%7C14419667/c_3/3%7Ccat_14419667%7CLCD+TVs%7C24282204.htm Is this a relatively good deal. Are LG worth a punt. I have some Argos vouchers and looking to put them to good use. I sense i am going to need a new tellybox soon. Thankyou in advance for any advice given.
  23. I know someone on the payroll at Maynards club.
  24. cortese wanted Maynard in the summer and was willing to 'break the bank' for him. Adkins had other ideas, none of which came to fruition. I was convinced We would get him then,but..... alas it did not happen.
  25. Cortese wants Maynard. Adkins is not so sure......mind you this is the man that brought in N'gusesan(sp),Forte,Bignall. and DeRidder...none of which has set the world alight.
