Expensively assembled WHU given football lesson last nite.Hoofball v how the game should be played.SFC are the real deal. West Ham eventually upped their game in the second half but i was left very unimpressed by them. We play the ball to feet from back to front, sometimes i think we over elaborate it especially the back four at times and it left my heart in my mouth on occasions. For such a big crowd it was not the best atmosphere, imo. Nolan went down in my estimations last night, never stopped moaning. Chaplow was tireless last night in his efforts. All in all, bloody marvellous, and without Lallana and for the majority,Cork.

Got my ticket this morning for the Itchen, block 10,really looking forward to this one. This will be a real test, but i am quietly confident we can get a positive result. Would be a big boost to beat one of the fancied sides for promotion, and go 5 points clear at the top, possibly.

Got my dad to pick up my ticket this morning,Itchen, block 10 here i come. Phoned up early to book and pick it up on the night, however i was advised against it as there is loads turning up to collect. Dad,you are a life saver, can't leave until 5pm and it can be a right pain getting through the traffic from Gosport.

Get in Rickie....come on De Ridder show me some magic please. COYS

West Ham 3 up....they will come too St Marys full of confidence. Come on Saints, get a positive result today please. Very disappointing to get caught cold from the start, would be nice to get 3 points from a side in and around us. De Ridder has hardly been the inspiring signing i was hoping for,i hope he gets a run out to prove me wrong. Barring Cork,i'm not overly impressed with the Adkins signing thus far, including the loans.

Pards is doing another fantastic job at a club that was in the doldrums, sounds familiar does'nt it. I sincerely hope he continues his success. He worked marvels during his time at Saints, and set the foundations for his successor.

Dirty DC at the brook on saturday, they are damn fine. amongst the best tribute bands going.

The harbour cancer trust in gosport, based above the bus station , has not been paid what was due, as yet, according to my source. However that does not mean an arrangement has not been agreed by the two parties, either to settle by other means,a differing timescale or other promises made by PFC. I don't think you will hear the charity say anything to inflame the issue, however much they were/are disappointed by the clubs actions.

Thinking of making a purchase of a cheapish,£1k,scooter. Seen some brand new peugot ones, which look ok. Only needed as a runaround. I trust you just need a provisional license, tax etc Would consider buying a second hand one,but seeing as a new one is reasonable thought that better. Anone got any suggestions of other makes, piaggio i think is one. Don't need anything fancy or complicated, just modern looking in style. Any advice on any of the above would be appreciated. Thankyou.

Wrong, imo. You should change the starting 11 in accordance to who the opposition is. Play to your strengths and expose the weakness of the opposition,it should not matter if the last result was a win. De Ridder and Fox to start please. Spirited effort yesterday it seems, now have the courage of your convictions and do a little tinkering with the squad. Forget the consolidation,go all out for promotion, spend some cash and act in a decisive manner in the transfer market please, our supposed targets are deminishing. Very good pionts tally thus far,now push on. Well done Nigel Adkins and and the squad, now lets see how you bounce back from defeat.

Leicester look close to getting Maynard,West Ham get Baldock, and we are going for Waghorn it seems.....hardly inspiring. I know prices are inflated but we really must endevour to get Rodrigues instead of Waghorn,if we really do have aspirations. not much of an improvement on Bignall is Waghorn, imo.

I hope that NA has a long shopping list as the options are decreasing somewhat, well that is to say our first second and possibly third choice aquisitions are rapidly becoming out of reach.Due either to outside our price range or possibly we are not the desirable prospect some may think. And i'm not just talking strikers, the CB fiasco is slightly disconcerting also. Sort it in the coming days please.
-
I agree also, would spending that kind of sum of money, on what appears to be a very good player, increase our chances of gaining the points required for a very successful season? i believe the answer is yes. So could the outlay of £6m be very prudent in the longterm, again i think yes. Weighing it up,£6m could prove to be peanuts in the grand scheme of things. Nothing is certain in football,i agree, but i think we should push the boat out, just this once.

I would be very pleased with the aquisition of Baldock.

And the forum soon decends into it's usual bickering oncemore. Hypo, give up...if you don't tow the party line you have not got a cat in hells chance.

solentsport BBC Radio Solent #saintsfc Solent understands that Fontaine deal broke down as Saints unable to make an informed decision on ankle injury. Not he failed 19 seconds ago Favorite Retweet Reply TonyHusbandTV Tony Husband by ConnorArmstrong #Saintsfc #Bristolcity Liam Fontaine deal didn't progress while player has ankle prob. Seems possible it could be resurrected at some stage 20 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply Personally,i would steer clear of this deal, don't touch it with a barge pole.

Maynard will not be playing for City tonight. Make of that, what you will.

Casper shemeickel (sent off). Good news for our game.imo. Come on Blackpool, get an equaliser please. Sound as though we have been really tested for the first time in this league. COYS.

So now i am accused of being Corp Ho,lol. I think some of you need to have administered a rectal diazepam and have a lie down in a darkened room. And you have dedused this by what exactly? On my sons life i have no affilliation with skates or anyone else connected with them. I think my post history on various threads would over the last 5/6 years would show that. I would be quite proud as it would be a fantastic rues for such a long period, especially regarding my aforementioned previous posts. It would almost be funny if it wasn't so sad that some believe it possible. I've predicted another good victory tommorrow, just can't bring myself to back against us,never could, never will. The good run will falter i suspect at some point, just don't want to predict when.

Adkins wins L.M.A performance of the week
saint lard replied to Under Weststand's topic in The Saints
An so he should, well done to all thus far.... Last post for 24 hrs...strategic posting is fun. -
You are of course quite correct,i was just using it to point out there is a long long way to go. *nother thing is,i have predicted us to win all our games, somewhat unlikely but.....??? Strange i should predict these victories if i think the sqaud and adkins not upto the task.
-
And here is the reason i no longer pay the fiver, couple that with an attrocious 'product' on a matchday. I have been unable to post due to the 3 post rule in 24hrs,but of course that would not dawn on either of you,or others, even though it clearly states registered user. Well aren't the billy big balls out display when there is an opportunity to points score, lol.Quelle surprise. I strongly suspect this thread would have consigned to the realms of obscurity if our start had not been so bright.Again, quelle surprise. Well, now that all the people who obviously have extra sensory perception could please now give me the lottery numbers. I wish i had been so certain of such a cracking start, but then when this thread started a ball had not been kicked in anger. Damn me for having a cause for slight apprehension, thankfully that has been completely dispelled by the fact we are on a world beating 'unbeaten in the league for 3 games' run. Bloody good start by adkins and all concerned at SFC,long may it continue, especially as i am doing rather well in the prediction league, strange that eh......might as well give me the trophy now...seasons over obviously. Really great start to the campaign,we have the winning habit and hopefully that can be maintained, will be interesting to see how we react after a defeat.....but who knows when that will happen? Keep it up Nigel, looking good early doors, well done. And to those who claim i have not poured enough adulation on NA,i have done so on other sites,as some can vouch, the sites that are free and the server can cope. You might find a little sarcasm in my post,i make no apologies. Well that is another post used up. Carry on ladies,I enjoy the attempts at point scoring, but the only points i care about are the ones acumillated on the pitch.
