I always wondered if the best place to end is defeated play off finalists in the Championship. I like seeing saints win, so watching them lose to manure, Arse, Chelsea etc was expensive and rarely rewarding. Equally defeats to Bolton, Fulham, Blackburn and other small premiership teams was hardly great fun. So promotion from L1 - a must. Promotion from Championship - ?

ST will be counted as attending The regular is likely to attend. What motivates the occassional fan? - a good record of home wins? - a match against a rival? - a good quality opposition? - a new signing? - cheap price? - nothing better to do? - a mate is going? - getting priority for tickets for another top match? - death of a loved and respected owner? the above is not in any order of priority. As I said happy to be proved wrong.

I am going to be controversial and suggest that the crowd will be average attendance Happy to be proved wrong.

Teach me to try and be clever. Anyway we should put out our strongest team to win every match.
