If you want speed then you use the toll roads if you don't want the expense then you follow WC's advice. For speed you use the tunnel if you want a longer rest the ferry. We've binned the ferries as the tunnel often works out cheaper and no puking by my kids! If you are going Sat/Sat then get up early, get through that tunnel and around Paris before it gets busy or go the Le Man route. Either way, it feels like a long drive.

Ticket prices for kids aged over 11 are obscene. £22 for my nipper who is 12 in April is way too much. We won't do a home game this season unless we are using Corky's STs when he's away as it's simply too much money. Liverpool away for the pair of us, including the train, is cheaper than just the two match tickets yesterday.

One of the reasons WBA price their tickets so low was that they were hemorrhaging fans to the pubs on match days. I used to teach not far from the Hawthorns and pubs would advertise the games which often included a free pint if WBA won thus keeping the punters in. The club reacted to that and crowds held up.
