With regards to Long's header, from where I was in the stand it looked at the time as if he was really stretching for it. I've yet to see the offside decision when Tadic flicked in through and Long was hauled down as that must of been marginal at best. Ref was just about to point to the spot and then obviously heard the offside shout from the linesman.

Love getting home by 18.00 via the train! 1st 20mins we were beyond sh_it. I've not heard anything about Sturridge but they were certainly serious about Theo and before Xmas it was close to a done deal. That changed after our run of results, as I posted a couple of weeks ago. The only surprise was that WHU didn't actually bid as I was told that Everton and they were both after him as soon as he had informed Saints the deal was off. I'll see what I can find out about Sturridge.
