TBF they are campaign medals. Starting wearing mine to the cenotaph on Rememberence Sunday. Felt odd the 1st time as it was always "old men" who wore theirs when I went as a nipper. Wife convinced me I should, saying I'd earned them them the hard way and they shouldn't be just put away in a draw.

When we were in the Nou Camp last weekend my nipper was wearing his Saints shirt and a woman and teenage lad came up to us and said that they were also Saints fans from Salisbury. My 10yo nipper asked if they were season ticket holders and they said they would be from July. He then asked if they had gone to games over the last few years, which they hadn't. "Your not proper fans then" said the lad and walked off. I beamed with pride.

I bought a new shape Ibiza Sport in red but as soon as I saw a white one I understood that white could actually look cool as fu.ck. Got a red Saab now though. :-)
