  1. not sure I agree with that. Nguessen has had enough game time to show signs that he has potential. IMO I have seen enough to make a judgement that he wont make a significant impact in our remaining games this year. from what i understand he is a confidence player and he clearly is running on empty. Who knows whether NA can get that back for him over a longer period of time but this season, no chance
  2. 10 to go and the pressure will start to really mount now. I think with around 5 games to go some teams will start to crack under the strain if they all continue winning. I guess its a question of who will hold their nerve. i think there could be a small fortune to be made selling SFC stress balls outside the grounds come april
  3. Am I on a Reading forum then as it seems like you are happy to print your knowledge as well lol. Im happy you are spilling the beans though.
  4. looking at all the fixtures of the top 6 teams, I wouldnt have had last nights set of fixtures as the games down as ones that they were likely to lose points. we wont win all our games and neither will they
  5. i remember this board going into melt down as we thought we were going to bid near on £2million for a 21 year old who only about 12-18months earlier was playing for poole town

Thes effinh harsh if you ask me.
  7. Ok great so now when NA signs someone we have never heard off there will be a massive wave of disappointment and comments that either a) saints wont spend the appropriate cash or b) NA doesnt have the gravitas to attract a face. Add to the fact that the fans will turn on him at home after 14 minutes of his debut and then boo him off. Clearly im talking about myself here and not all the other tolerant and realistic fans we have
  8. mad me laugh when the commentator said to him they dont look like cherries on his face but somethign else. Plums?
  9. excellent, however i suspects its not very accurate. According to this site we scored 3 goals but only had 2 x shots on target or am i reading it wrong
  10. This. I also think FR looks to get for foward a lot more than DB and looks to play the ball into feet (and sometimes doesnt come off) whereas DB generally plays the long ball foward. DB usually puts a nice cross in but is generally from deep , if opnly he got forward more and played thecross from nearer the byeline he would be dangerous.
  11. carlisle equaliser in injury time 3-3
  12. I now have this vision of lallana runing down the wing wearing a dog collar and holding large crucifix out in fromt of him.
  13. Agree with most of the above. I felt by adopting a norrow diamond we were forced to play through the middle. IMO we should have the talent against this sort of side to stretch the game by using the width available to us. Thier was acres of space on wither touchline that both our wide(ish) men and the full backs failed to take advantage of. Why do we need to adapat our tactics to match walsall when we should be good enough to dictate the play. Maybe we would leave ourselves slightly exposed at times through the middle but IMO we would have destroyed them out wide. Again seems to be a far more balanced discussion from those who witnessed the game than some who feel the need to lose thier heads in the post match overreaction thread. Anyway wasnt the best performance I have seen from saints away from home and I am as diappointed as most but Ive seen far worse and actually got more points (Ala Wycombe away last year) For the record N'geusson (Sp.) IMO is a fringe player at the very best. We have gone backwards since last season with the loss of Antonio and Papa and thier creatiivity is sorely missing this season particularly as an option off the bench when we are up against it.
  14. I really can't believe we didn't score tonight. so many chances. No width tonight with so much space out wide, now that's a crime. Chamberlain should have come on much earlier. **** poor finishing cost us dear tonight.

  16. so what do you suggest?
  17. so basicaly were buggered win lose or draw then? we could go for a pitch invasion and get it called off, what do you think?
  18. Amazing isnt it. Brighton lose and there is no sign of the Shyte covered Penis BHA around. One more defeat and im sure he will start claiming he is actually a Manure fan again.
  19. They also have a fans forum that doesnt crash automatically from 90 minutes before kick off until 5 minutes after. I guess we are league one and have a league one forum.
  20. Well if they held the game at 3pm on a saturday then at least most people on here Would be free to play.
  21. I think thats a reasonable answer. Can you imagine NC or NA accepting any other answer from a similar question? Set a standard and aim for it.
  22. Ok, move along there is nothing to see here
  23. so lets get this straight, you are starting a thread attacking the leadership of the club because they havent stated that they will have season tickets next season? am i missing something here, are you for real?
  24. whether we like it or not there is going to be cost incurred to saints for allowing people to book tickets (staff, post, processing etc) and they as a business are entitled to make money on it. the fact is they are offering a servicde that allows you to avoid that cost if you want to. why do people get so hung up on it whether its optional or included within the overall price.
  25. and there seems to be another 6 or 7 threads dedicated to shyte players that never really did much for saints in thier limited time here. Could we not just have one thread (that we can avoid) and maybe title it .. Shyte players that used to play for saints briefly
