  1. full respect to them. I agree the game has been taken over by the money men and to a degree ruined.
  2. To be honest if you are a fat barsteward I doubt many articles of clothing do you many favours other than maybe a girdle. Back on topic id be happy to keep the sash only (and I mean only) if we win the league. dont change a winning formular and all that.
  3. looked pretty decent if u ask me
  4. Totally agree. We may get to see one or two players prove thier worth on the fringes and its only 15 quid. £15 is not a great deal of money for an afternoon out these days.
  5. add the cost of paying off pardew then the financial cost of bringing in adkins could be quite high. Assuming at leat 18 - 24 months of AP's contract remained then that could esily be another 7 figure sum. That would need to be sanctioned as well.
  6. agree the first was a fluke. Check the second again as he defo takes a little look up before he hits its. Chaplow had a good game. I like him a lot as he is the only CM player we have that gets beyond the front two, however he maybe needs a little more composure when he gets there. Although if he was then he would be playing at a higher level. Alex OA has it all ...pace to burn, two good feet and can deliver the final ball from either side. He is going to be some player. I liked the look of Bignall as well. He won every header, he is very mobile, makes good runs and again has two good feet. Id like to see a bit more of him in the side as I think he has bags of potential.
  7. Dickson to come in for Harding? I dont suppose you could provide some information on how dickson has been doing in training to justify your opinion on this one? Has anyone seen him play in the stiffs / developmetn side and would like to provide feedback?
  8. Wadge? is it procounced Vadge?
  9. I cold ask them same of all of your posts. I jus thought yo may like to know that i agreed with him based on your negative rantings that IMO are designed to **** everyone off. i guess yo are happy that pimply have just made it 2-2
  10. I think you may need to report me too as to be honest I agree with him as he is 100% correct in his post
  11. anychance you could stop bleating on, youve made yor point that you think we are ahyte and going down. There is no need to keep repeating yourself as we can all remember your first post full of bleating.
  12. Where did I state in my comment that I thought he was playing as he did last year and where did i say that i thought he was 100% match fit. If you take the time to engage your brain and take in what i wrote you would appreciate that but alas you didnt. My comment was that after his headed goal his touch and his confidence were visably returning. Add that to that the fact he is our top scorer this season, has scored 3 in 2 games also could have had at least another 2 against tranmere and you you can start to see why only a fool would drop him. Or do you still not grasp it?
  13. you are so wrong. top scorer, 3 goals in 2 games. visibly improved by 100% when his header went in. the confidence and more importantly his touch is returning. anyone who would drop lambert after last saturdays performance clearly has a limited grasp of football imo
  14. its about the only target he has managed to hit this season.
  15. why the obsession with a big man to replace lambert? I went to the Boro game at the weekend as I was up north for the great north run and took in the game whilst i as there. They play wth Lita up front and Mcdonald playing in the hole behind who plays some really clever balls through. These two guys are far from big and strong but rely on pace (Lita) and quick and incisive passing through Mcdonald. I can tell you they looked really dangerous and were a real handfull for the Reading CB's. Ultimately its about playing to your players stregths that brings success. so if we sign another classy striker who isnt big and strong (ala lambert) then we just need to adjust our tactics to accomadate them. This i guess could be this elusive Plan B that we seem to be lacking?
  16. Has LEs Reed screwed your wife or soemthing as you seem really bitter towards everything he has done. Add to that you add no weight of evidence to your claims about what is going on. Care to elaborate on all your claims?
  17. I'm kind of glad I'm at the riverside stadium today as WGS side seems to be doing its stuff
  18. Hey, look on the brightside. Noone is starting to run away with it this year. I think a lot less points will be needed for automatic promo and the playoffs this year. The team is short on confidence and fitness IMO. lallana and barny back in the side will make a significant difference. A couple of loans in will also step things on and finally the new manager should be able to lift the rest over the enw couple of weeks. Im still confident that we will shake things up. Although its been a tough start the league is far more open this year and thats a massive positive for me but then ive never been one to slit my wrist at the first sign of trouble. We seem to have a board full of frama queens and Divas who clearly give up at the first hurdle. With every kick in the teeth and hurlde passed the reqards get greater!!
  19. you paid a fiver to post such ridiculous post with absolutely no thought behind it at all. I can't remember Gray manageing any side to two promotions in 3 years. I dont remember any of the fans at the clubs he has worked at been gutted with his departure.
  20. Its Pardews fault where we are at this point. With his antics he has destroyed team spirit and got himself sacked to boot. Everyone knows the what the training ground rumours were well I have had it 100% confirmed by someone inside the club. HE is a disgrace and should firmly should the blame for the current mood within the camp. NC had no choice but to remove him as none of the senior players would back him. Add to that his failure to get the team remotley fit in preseason we are now on a collision course with the foot of the table. The sooner we get a manager in who can organise and motivate the side we are on a downward spiral.
  21. you only have to listen to the mans press conferences. its a done deal and will be sorted after the game saturday. NA is 100% our new manager accept it, support him and let the good times roll. i for one am pleased.
  22. http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=460&fid=12&sty=2&act=1&mid=2120201811 The s****horpe site seems to think that a deal is done and NA will leave scunny after the match tomorrow. I guess thats no real suprise if true.
  23. http://www.thisiss****horpe.co.uk/sport/Uncertainty-deepens-Adkins-future-S****horpe-United/article-2626281-detail/article.html - seems its still on
  24. Well sounds like NA isnt quite the nodding dog that some on here are suggesting.
  25. Absolutely agree with this. Lets face it he wont be an unknown if he gets us back this year and starts a charge in the CCC. Im sure we will then be sat here moaning that other clubs are sniffing around him.
