personally i thought he was pretty good tonight. Lets be honest he no rio ferdinand on the ball. He is a no nonsence defender winning his headers, tackles and positioning is ok. that muppet on the right otsemoboar IMO is a pile of effing turd and has no right to be wearing a saints shirt. roll on murty coming back in the team. My biggest concern is the midfield. Wooton completely immobile and fails to be first to any lose ball, his passing is shyte. Lallana is ineffective out wide and needs to be bought inside and see the ball. Antonio well what can you say for all that pace and possession he gets he clearly worries defenders but oh for a bit of talent. Barny looks ok but his sitter FFS that waas the chaning point of the game

I cant say Im suprised, I posted on here a couple of months back that I had heard that NC's wife wasnt happy in southampton. Maybe she is pulling the strings and NC will be hen pecked into making a move.

Didnt parsew say something about saints didnt agree with donnies valuation of stock as a reason why he has signed. Now that hammond is out I would suggest that they may quickly agree witrh donnie on his value. Hammonds injury may be a blessing in disguise in closing a deal for stock quickly.

you talk absolute ****** all the time. Yes im sure everyone is ****ed off that we give away a last minute equaliser but please dont be so dramatic. its the same every time we dont get the result you want.

Coleman quoted “To come out with excuses is childish and we’ve all been round the block enough times to know that it’s nonsense. So what were these childish excuses that saints offered for pulling out?
-
two things you can do if you really cant bear him.... 1) switch the radio to another station 2) got to the match FFS - the man is a saint through and through. he gets handsomely paid for watching saints home and away and for talking about them whilst he is watching them. what a great job, lucky man. who is the fool you or him?
-
It seems Steve Perryman rates him, it seems Alan Pardew and his scounting team rate him. However some people on a internet forum who may / or may not be bitter that he is going to saints dont rate him. Also some saints fan who saw him play against saints thought he was crap too. oh which group has more credibility and who should i trust has made the right decision. No brainer. Slag the fecker off as he must be shyte

It seems if people get really wound up with the Daily Echo. It seems a fairly simple solution not to read it but still people cant help but read and then post drivel on here about poor / sloppy / inaccurate journalism. Who gives a shyte what they print its an effing newspaper FFS. Are they not all the same ? full of Spin, inaccuracies and bias. Get over yourselves and refrain from buying it and looking at thier website. Job Done.

how about Joe Ledley at cardiff. We need a winger and he is out of contract at the end of the season with Hull amongst others sniffing about. cant think of any links with this portuguese guy unlee they bith have a sheep fetish

I want Pompey away. I just want to be able to stand there and sing to the tune of yellow submarine .. "we're all standing on a future block of flats". That would iritate the shyte out of the skate few.

After 23 games we gained 38 points which by my reckoning suggests we are a top 6 side. You post is ill thought out and clearly shows you are a first class idiot. its a real shame your father wasnt castrated before your were conceived it would have done the wrld a favour IMO

He was there and I can confirm he was very excited when we equalised and also in the pen shoot out. Also heard soemthing interesting today that ML is buying a house in Chilworth. Apparently the one that Andy Cole had whilst he played at pompey. Clearly he is intending to stay a while and keep going to the games.

So the which of these two words ... WINNING / LOSING best describes the team who progresses into the next round?

Should Pardew rest players in JPT game ahead of Leeds?
wild-saint replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Who's to say a player left out wont get injured in a freak accident left at home. Didnt beasant drop a jar of salad cream on his foot. Who's to say the player coming into the team to replace an injury wont turn out to be a game winner. When KD got injured I was cursing our luck but Bart has done a sterling job. Although if Lambert gets injured on Tuesday I think our season is over. Decisions Decisions eh, I guess thats why pardew get paid a big fat wad of money. -
Are penalties not used to decide who wins the game? Im 38 and have seen a fair few pen shoot outs and that was always my understanding, please feel free to update my flawed knowledge.

Saints 3-0 Tranmere Rovers: Post Match Reaction
wild-saint replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
+1. I agree what is it with people? Teams are now coming to SMS and parking the coach in front of the goal. A team of limited ability players with a a decent manager can be organised to prevent a good team playing thier football fairly easilybut leaving them with little going forward and trying to a nick a goal. The trick is having the ability to break them down and getting the first goal. Saints are clearly that team and after that when they need to abandon the tactic it generally means saints are good enough to go on and score more. When a team comes down her to attack and play football (ala Norwich, Charlton) we are allowed the space to play our stuff. -
Not impossible, I have a Southampton FC 2003 FACup Winners Car sticker. In fact at the time my mate gave me a box of 1000 of them.
-
Actually its around 13k who will turn up no matter what. Remember last season? lowe? shyte team? boittom 3? -10 points?
