Absolutely agree. Its great isnt it. a new kit to look forward to every year all for the annual spend of £40. well done saints. a fanbase of well dressed fans not wearing last seasons designs.

The problem NC has with AOC is that he has been banging on about the youth academy and how we want to emulate Barca by bringing through young players and building the team around him only to potentially lose the first player he brings through. For that reason and that reason alone I think NC will be completley abstructive on letting AOC go regardless of what the boy personally wants to do. NC will only sell if its massively weighted in our favour allowing him to save face. He has a big dilema on his hands and therefore will fight tooth and nail to keep him here.

A friend that knows chamberlains old man told me yesterday that he is after a coaching roleas part of any deal that takes his son to the arse (or other club) and also that he was banging on about being skint. The mans is clearly seeing his son as a meal ticket and wants him to move to activate his cut in negotiations. Seems as though his thoughts are for himself and not the development of his sons game. once a skate always a skate

Agreed it wuld be taxable revenue but you only pay tax on your profits so if the money is offset against cost (ie transfers runnumg costs etc) and the company breaks event then tax is irellivant.

£15 million i meant!
-
Sowhats to stop saints signing a "sponsorship deal" with a company in the leibherr estate fro circa £15 per year? That would be an easy way to inject cash into the business to get around the rules.
-
Fonte is on 19k per week.
-
in the cup game this year against Man Who 3/4 of their team were really poor but i would still take pretty much all of them if the chance arose for saints.

what the **** is wrong with this country? If you can afford something and you want it then buy it. If you cant afford it then you dont buy it or buy it on credit. Lets face it the world we live in today is all about having today what you cant afford. its the main reason why the country is in such a mess and billions in debt! why does every body moan so much. its not as if the club is a profit making machine and the owners are leaving with truckloads of gold at the end of each year. All the money is being spent (and some) on either infrastructure or players and someone has to pay. The alternative is we end up back in administration by overspending beyond our means. As to the seniors we all know its 65+ in this world, you just got a great deal for a year. if i wanted moaning and *****ing id talk to my wife not come on here for some footy talk.

Must be an old news quote. AOC is in switzerland with England U19's and i would be gobsmacked if his old man wasnt there watching him. It is also unlikely that an excho journo was also in switzerland to interview him and also unlikely that they did it over the phone. Seems to me like its a rehash on a no news day for the echo.

maybe they have a bid fo £100 million in for messi. if he accepts the season tickets will be £1000 ach and if he doesnt then no change. I just wish he would hurry up and decide whether he is going to get on the bus.

clearly sibley doesnt ahave kids as 7.45 and still no news is hardly early

good artilce. Seems like after training all the lads are given lessons on how to give interviews in the same style as adkins. I was loving some of his choices of phrases such as "I remember on my first day through the door I was training with him and somebody told me he was only 16" or is he an adkins love child. You decide!!

I thought he was a far better player than Gobern. He is composed on the ball and has decent range of passing on him. I think he will get better as he develops and would be a decent player at championship level once he settles in.
-
I predict Micky Channon and Terry Paine will be made presidents of the club. Likely to leave LMac slighlty let down though.
-
im suprised no one has posed this in the Brighton forum as im sure thay would love to debate it lol

Did we not buy fonte instead of Ward or was Seaborne instead of ward. I can't remember.
-
is there any chance of buying a ticket in the home end on the day?
-
Can you buy tickets on the gate for the home end?
-
Lallana should get every vote IMO. Fonte a close second. Without Lallana we would not get promotion over a whole season . Without fonte I think we would have got a play off position at least.

I take it you are mentally retarded?

Cue the brighton fans forum to go into a meltdown as they get thier knickers in a twist over our supposed arrogance yet again.

Yeah he has put in some decent crosses but they are always from a deep position. I prefer a fullback that has the pace and ability to get further forward beyond their full back or at least at put a cross in from further up the field which means the opposition defence have a harder job of defending the ball in. DB maybe a better defender but we are in league 1 its not as if we are coming up against giggs and ronaldo each week. Anyhow if i was boss Richardson would be first choice and those are my reasons. right or wrong is not really the question is it? just a case of a preference of ore attack minded team. The same reasons above are why I like Dickson at fullback on the left over Harding (but to be fair to Harding its a much tighter call as he is much better going forward.)
