Finally your balls are dropping too right?

Strikers thrive on confidence. Constant barracking and slating of a player does nothing to help that confidence. IMO he has a decent touch can pass well and is comfortble running with the ball at his feet. Add a large pinch of confidence and he will look a different player. Ive always thought he has been harshly judged, but then every team has a player that is seen as the weak link and is generally the focal point for abuse. The question is if he is mentally strong enough to get through it and move forward who will be next?
-
So with 11 games remaining we can get a maximum of 70 points. Is that generally a big enough total to gain 6th spot? Longshot maybe but who knows?

no stanley, saint robbie, alpine saint tonight?

Cardiff fan dead/on life support machine...
wild-saint replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Saints
Walking from the stadium with my six year old son and 40 year old sister I was subject to lots of intimidating behavior / agressive words from Cardiff fans by the coaches. Also near london road we were given more abuse by cardiff fans driving by in a minibus. A little verbal retatiation by my sister ended in the bus stopping and a bunch of lads piling out of the bus to start some trouble with a women for gods sake. My boy was partiuclarly scared by the incident IMO the majority of the fans were scumbags, bad losers looking to take it out on anyone who dared look in thier direction let alone respond to any intimidation. No sympathy for any of them personally. What goes around comes around. -

or it could be the choice of - a) taking the money early and then going into administration. The money collected gets soaked up by the administrator. b) dont collect the money. go into administration. Buy the shares cheapley off the administrator and then collecting the new seasn ticket money in the summer once the new company is set up. Just playign devil's advocate

Surely if we stay up, and have massively cut costs from last year avoiding adminstration and giving a base on which to rebuild it would not indeed be a success? Regardless of how /who we done it?

I think people have covered most of the good points on here but my thoughts on the game ... I was worried when I saw euell up front and Mcgoldrick at CM. However what a pleasant suprise, A brave decision by Wotte by god did it work. Euell led the line brilliantly, held the ball up well, and won balls in the air. For me Mcgoldrick has a decent touch, can pass the ball well and looks ok running with the ball at his feet facing. So having him breaking from midfield to pick up the knock downs, lay offs and play the ball out wide when he had a chance worked really well. Then it was useful to have him arriving late in the box withmore of an attacking threat than most of our usual CM's. Maybe just maybe DMG has found a position where he can be most effective. Great decision by wotte today, also teh subs to snuff out the game when we were on the back foot did the trick. You earned your money today Wotte, keep up the good work.

Im positive today as well. As I will be every game. Probably be really disppointed today as I have been every ****ing week. I dont support Lowe, I will not March, I will support the team in full until the last kick of the last game. I will not shout abuse at the team, manager or Lowe. Why? No point, as it wont achieve anything / Change anything between now and the end of the season. The only thing that will help is a positive atmosphere in my opinion. If we go down, then at the end of game on the last game I will walk onto the pitch in front of the directors box and shout abuse at Lowe until wither A) he resigns or b) I get dragged from the pitch and get arrested. Feel free to join me.

It wont be long before our fans start judging performances based on teletext latest scores FFS.

Peter Reid for Manager - campaign needed..

It does make me laugh on this forum. Most on here slag off wotte saying he is clueless and we are doomed. Then in their next breath most say the team is made up of has beens, also rans and young kids with no ability and no commitment to the cause. It may be both but i do wonder how we know how good Wotte is based on 4 games using players that most have already condemned as not good enough to keep us up. By rights it would take a mangerial genius to keep this squad up if they are as bad as we say they are. From what I read about the quality of the players even Alex ferguson would be doomed to failure. So why change again? Personally I think the team are good enough to stay up but are massively short on confidence and I would have cleared out the entire management team. I guess im just playing devils advocate. -

Any chance of a thread that discusses something different than nearly 99 percent of all the other threads?
-
or is it because hardly anyone can be arsed to pay the £5 membership and therfore cant start new threads, hence its the same threads day after day.

IVe got a great idea. We put back the march until after the game maybe 4.50pm. Then all the fans that want to see the game (circa 14k) and the 1000 or so protesters can all march away from the stadium at the same time. We will then have 15,000 protesters. Genius
