  1. ST holders who have supported the club through thin and thinner with thier financial support are getting rewarded, no probs with that. Oh but then Im a ST holder.
  2. Decent enough, Shame about his lack of pace. He looks like he is towing a caravan at times IMO.
  3. I took my boy at 5 for his first game to the Sheff Unts game last season. The only reason I risked it was because i couldnt get anyone to look after him. So 5 goals, a red card and a pitch invasion on his first game and now he is obsessed. He sat and watched the game for the entire game. stood on hs seat for the goals and ignored all the bag of comics, sweets and DS i took with me to keep him occupied. He is now 6 and has been to around 9 home games and one away (charlton) this season. He loves it and when I pick him up from his mums house this list of questions his hit upon me without fail ..... 1) Are we going to the football 2) Who are we playing? 3) What place are they in? 4) What place are we in? 5) If we win wil will be in x place above them 6) What colour so they play in Now everytime you mention a team I get those questions. (It drives me mads) I gave him the option of going to see the HMS victory and he said I want to go to Charlton away. On the way home I hear him singing in the back and turn the radio down and he has learnt the words to grab your fathers gun that was sung at the game. OH god his mothers going to kill me. MOral of the story is that I thought he was far to young to go to a game coz he cant sit still and has the focus of a goldfish. But put him in a footy stadium and he is obsessed with it already. So you got kids take em and see how it goes whatever thier age IMO you may be suprised. ST for us both next season woohoo
  4. not only are you assuming that the wages were the same but also that Peasron would have got a better performance out of the same dog shyte players that JP had to play with. Remember JP didnt have saga, euell, JPS and Slacel at his disposal as wotte has had recently. Personally I think Pearson would have done no better with the same kids that JP struggled with for so long.
  5. We can blame wotte all we ike but from what I have seen this year (and ive been to all the home games and a few away) , the players just arent good enough. I would hazard a guess Sir Alex would have struggled to keep this side up.
  6. Thats utter crap. The rules state and only state that the club must go into administration to face a points deduction. To the letter of the rules we are breaking none. Clearly the issue is the fact the rules have been ill thought out and as such are open to interpretation. How the F is that our fault. It states nothing in those sames rules that if the PLC(holding company) files for administration that unless X% is related to non football related income then the deduction applies. What do people not get about that? Clearly I agree that we are benfitting from the leagues fook up but hey thats life. Moving forward they will tighten the loop hole to stop others using the same one. What is morally wrong with that? Should Derby face a points deduction for retrospective breaking of rule that changed after they committed the offence?
  7. surely its 10 points or nothing as the current rules state? Why would we get extra points for saying we shouldnt get points because the club is not in administration but the PLC is?
  8. I think he has been to the gallery more times than SMS I think but not Krap Notarf (awaiting incoming from Austria)
  9. ok the c20,000 average attendance wokrs out at 10% of the population. I moot that we sell the 10% of the collection that we have indirectly paid for. In partiuclar i would sell the central point of each painting representing 10% of the canvas.
  10. brilliant - saints in trouble ill pay double
  11. And the Irony is that it will be used to pay players wages that dont need the money. Maybe a campaign for the players to forgo thier wages until then end of April would be a better option.
  12. Southampton 2009 FC
  13. I have to agree with him to be honest and feel free to infract as much as you like. The fact is if the ony person who steps forward to buy the club and stop it going out of business was lowe I would support it. The club can live for ever, lowe will eventually tire, die or sell on at some stage. Anyone who wants the club to die just because they dont like the owner is a fool / idiot. Why dont you just stop supporting the club and chose someone rather than wish it dead for us real fans who support the club through thick an thin
  14. Loathe him or Luvvie him Lowe didnt get to where he is now without a plan and bunch of highly paid advisors that have looked in to the introcate detail of all things SFC. As I see it SMS is owned (and the debt serviced) by SLH PLC. they then in turn rent the ground to SFC. Thus all assets are protected from trading issues and vice versa. So SLH goes into Administration wiping all debts on the ground. Administrators then have the job of selling the ground to gain as much money possible for the creditors (NU). The city council are very unlikely to grant a permission for use of the land for anything other than a sports stadium. So NU have a choice of either selling to the highest bidder who will only ever be a consortum who want the football club for whatever they offer or they hold the ground a charge a rental for use to the same consortium. It seems to me as Lowe will ride in with a consortium upon administration gain 100% control of the club and either buy the stadium at a low price or lease it back again at lowprice. He will then have a financially viable club and significantly increased shareholding. The only other option I can see is another consortium coming in and offering the administrator more dosh. points deduction or no points deduction someone will emerge a winner and IMO it wil be lowe as I personally dont think this devious man hasnt got a plan.
  15. However fooked off I am this morning, I am still really looking forward to the game at the weekend and the chance of getting out of the relegation zone (albeit before a uber points dedcution for the dodgy shenaningans of our smug arogant chairman) IS this a bit odd to be looking forward to a game at such sad time for our club?
  16. Can someone share the link with me that details in full are exact financial position that shows we have no alternative to go into administration. or are we guessing?
  17. and the last game at home against QPR he was shyte, JPS had him in his pocket
  18. I can check the Man city link from Harry Redknapp. My contact(family member) is playing golf with Kev Bond tomorrow and will ask him what he has heard. If Harry knows anything he would have told Kev.
  19. The dell was special but no different to any other tiny ground filled to the rafters. SMS has had its moments when full and the team has played well. The problem is the successful times the article refers to was a different era that hadnt been tainted by the vast amounts of money on offer by sky and the smaller teams could compete at a much closer level. WE moved to SMS after all the cash had filled the premership, we were already on a spiral downhill at the dell struggling to survive year on year. Look at our attendances now and we average 16k this year, the reality has hit and leaves the fans that truely are obssessed by football to follow thier team through thinner Like it or not the fans that no longer attend SMS whatever reasons they give are the floating fans who will go when were winning and wane when were not. The real problem is if we dont level out will the core fans start to dwindle further? probably if we get relegated probably not if we dont. Personally im just obsessed and can think of nothing id rather do on a saturday afternoon with my boy that to watch my team attempt to recreate the beautiful game, usually badly regardless of the division.
  20. scored today c u n t
  21. Other mac goaldraught scored , ****
  22. Long way to go to beat the number of threads in a day on whose to blame for the mess that saints are in.
  23. i didnt think you watched this year, so no change
  24. It seems lots of ITKs are prepared to say we are going into administration etc but not one of these ITKs has suggested the name of the loan signing we are trying to get in this week. Incredible theboard will break the law and share information on admin but not a name we are trying to sign. I just dont understand it
