Here's a novel idea. Why don't the fans stay in the ground at full time and make their feelings really known. Show the board that we're not taking any more of this shit. Nothing will will change while the fans keep turning up and doing nothing!

The bigger problem is yet to come. This won't be like th last time Saints went down. The clear out will be massive and there will be another new manager who has to try and assemble a brand new squad. Saints will be lucky to finish in the top half of the Champuonship next season. The club is a complete joke.

Nice to see that our fans are finally realising that the board employed a fuckwit who is equally as clueless as the departing manager. You only had to translate some of the press reports about Juric to see that he was never going to be the solution. Shame that the board clearly didn't bother to do the most basic research.

He's not the problem, the manager is. Do some homework. Juric has a reputation for poor relationships with his players. When Juric has gone I think you'll find most of the current squad will open up about how unliked he really was.

Just spoken to a client in work who is a QPR fan. He was obviously happy with their result last night. I asked about Edwards. His response.... "What a player. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets player of the season. Apparently he has said he wants a permanent move and doesn't want to go back to Saints." Brilliant. :-/

Didn't want him, not with his reputation for poor relationships with players, which now seems to be rearing it's ugly head. I dont understand the logic in employing a manager who probably won't be our manager next season. And so it starts again, the search for a manager who can get Saints promoted, convince the likes of Shea Charles and Ronnie Edwards that they have a future at Saints and also build a new team. I'd be surprised if Saints finish in the top half of the championship.next season.

I've said this for years. Unless you're a top 6 team then it's pointless. The other teams are only there to make the numbers up. Occasionally, you'll get a team like Villa or Newcastle have a few good seasons but you're never going to see the likes of Saints, Forest, WHU, etc. regularly finishing in the top 6. The Championship has 2 massive problems. 1. If you do well you end up promoted into the Prem. 2. The playoffs - What's the point in promoting a team that finished 4th, 5th or 6th, (clearly well off the pace) into a league above?

Compare our team to Luton Town last season. With the exception of Ross Barkley you'd say that Saints have better players in every position. Luton looked like they had some fight in them. Saints don't. The reason for that that comes down to one man, the manager. Russell has already shown that he doesn't know how to adapt or change the system. The board needs to act quickly or we'll be 10 games in with 1 point.

The board are complete wankers for giving him a new contract b fore a ball was kicked in the Prem. Anyone in their right mind would have said, 'let's see how you're doing after 10 games'. Now it's going to cost about £10m to get rid of the clueless fuckwit and a small fortune to get Potter or Moyes, who I think are the only managers who stand any chance of keeping us up. Eustace, Rohl, etc. are just as big a gamble as Martin was.

Clueless. Only knows how to play one way. Keeps saying that it's his responsibility, which is admirable, but if that's really the case then admit you're out of your depth and fuck off and let someone else come and have a go.

We can stay here all night trying to analyse this. The fact remains.... We are fucking shite.

We went 1 up and I said to my colleague in work, 'you just know Ipswich will equaliser or score two in injury time. They did it so many times last season.' Approaching 90 mins he said, 'you're hanging on.....' A few minutes later he looked at me and said 'what did you say? You should have had money on that'.

That was fucking awful. If our board has any bollocks they'll give RM the boot in the morning.

The problem is the play offs. "Ohhh, they generate interest at the end of the season and offer the promoted team a boost in finances." 🙄 All it does is allow a team that didn't really deserve to be promoted, and often finished 10 points behind the top 2, being promoted into a league where they'll never compete. The playoffs aren't about football. They're all about money and this is what happens almost every season.

Decent midfield and attack. Still way off with the defence. Russell's insistence on starting Stephens will cost us. How is he a better option than THB? Joke.

If I can look at a team and say Ugochukwu instead of Smallbone. Archer in for Armstrong and Fernandes for Aribo, then why can't our bloody manager? RM has shown massive nativity so far this season. I said 0 pts from our first 5 games and I stand by that.

Surprise, surprise. Losing again. I don't understand the team choice at all. I've not seen a single comment from anyone who thinks he's got it right today. Why would you pick this team again when it hasn't looked good enough. RM talked about players at Cardiff who had done really well and staked their case only for him not to play them. Stephens? Smallbone? Aribo? Armstrong? FFS, we've spent a small fortune on players and they're all sat on the bloody bench. 😡

That starting lineup has really pissed me off. Stephens again FFS. Archer should be starting as should Fernandes and Ugo. This team looked poor last week against Forest so why pick the same line up again? We'll go a goal or two behind and then RM will look to change things. Idiot.

Ipswich's recruitment makes ours look like amateur hour.

2 games in. 2 defeats. I thought we'd have 1 point after our first 5 games, with that point being picked up today. 😩 It doesn't bode well when the areas that needed addressing last season still haven't been addressed. A creative midfielder and an out-and-out striker. We've bought BBD and CA who basically play the same role. If we stopped playing that waste of Space, Stephens, then we could have another midfielder on the pitch.

I still don't understand why we didn't go for Szmodics. He played with BBD at Blackburn. Scored 33 in all competitions last season.and has already got 3 goals in 2 games this season. Much cheaper than O'Reilly. On paper Ipswich's recruitment looks very impressive.

If we're out of the race for O'Reilly then why are we not looking at Szmodics? He's off to a great start this season. He's played with Diaz and seemingly had a good partnership with him, from what I've read. I don't understand Saints at all. No striker. No creative midfielder. No goalkeeper. If Diaz gets injured early in the season what options do we have? These were top priority and they've failed with all 3.
