If by populist approach you mean caving in to all the demands of the fans then I agree with you, but I don't think that's what anyone is saying here. When Arsenal designed their new stadium and had motifs of all their old legendary players was that a populist approach? Was it a populist approach when saints had their centenary kit with no sponsor? Is installing bobby Charlton at united a populist approach? When any number of clubs make gestures that recognise their history, it doesn't mean they cave in to every wim of the fans, it means they recognise that respecting history, having a mix of the traditional and the modern is what the majority of fans want. You aren't going to please all fans all of the time of course but doing something to listen to the wishes of the fans is surely better than ignoring fans all together? Or are you saying you support the Hull Tigers idea or the mess that Tan has made over in Cardiff?

Because I would guess (though have no figures to back it up) that most supporters would prefer it that way. Football fans in general like the history and traditions of their club and sensible owners tend to embrace that and make it part of the club's future (see huge clubs like United, Liverpool and Arsenal for details.) It isn't exactly harming us at any rate, unless you think that the gold and silver crests somehow made us a mint.

Why should we do something over anyone else? There is nothing to do, Russia is making Crimea part of their country and we should just accept it and come to some sort of agreement to stop the nonsense.

Almost two years ago now I got defrauded out of money by an individual online. He stole £260 of my money and after reporting the crime, I found out he has done it to a ton of other people (over £15,000 in total.) He is currently in court at the moment in Hertfordshire and is messing the judge around by pleading guilty and then changing his plea at the last minute. Anyway, the policeman I spoke to said I have very little chance of getting my money back and that he is more likely to get a prison sentence rather than being forced to pay the money back. Firstly, I think it is outrageous that someone can do that and not be compelled to pay it back. Even if he pays me a fiver a month, at least I would eventually receive my money. Secondly, I am looking to issue county court proceedings against him but in order to do that I need his address. The policeman in charge of my case tells me that they have his new address now but that they are unable to give it to me and advised that I did a freedom of information request. I got the following reply from Hertfordshire police: With regards to obtaining this information we are not obliged to provide you with this as this is Mr A**** personal information. If you wish to obtain evidence such as a crime report or incident log then you could make a Subject Access Request. Under Section 7 of the Data Protection Act and individual can make a Subject Access Request which gives the individual the right to request a copy or their personal information that an organisation may hold about them. On the other hand if you have a solicitor then they could request this information on your behalf and disclosure will then be considered. With regards to Subject Access Request I have attached the relevant forms So my question is really do I have any other options or do I just have to accept I will not be seeing my money again? I can't afford a solicitor over such a small amount but also I feel it is unfair that the system protects the criminal when all I want to do is get back what I am owed. Any advice?

Fact is, as far as I am aware there aren't people on here (other than maybe yourself) who believe that the royal family are actually lizards and that the world is controlled by a shadowy world government. If you are going to come on here and spout some ludicrous theories then of course people are going to laugh in your face. Most posters on here tried debating with you at first but when it became clear that those were your honestly held beliefs then it becomes rather pointless. I expect most posters just read some of the more nonsensical theories on here, shake their head and then move on without replying because there is little value to be gained from debating with mad men. There are some oddballs on here but in general people are sane and can see ridiculous conspiracy theories for what they are. Over there they may be more accepting, but that's largely because they tend to accept the most mental of comments and dismiss anything simple or straightforward. It is a conspiracy theory website after all so that's sort of its job.

It isn't though because if you say something they disagree with they will accuse you of watching too much BBC television and being a "sheeple" who has been brainwashed by the mainstream media which consists of lizard people at the head of a world government pulling the strings. It's utter madness to any half sane individual.
