  1. Sigh.
  2. Just had a quick look at future plans and it looks interesting. I just hope they have less standing around talking and they develop some of the cast a bit more. Can't say I actually give a toss about Carol or T Dog so far who seem to be there just to make up the numbers. The same with some of the female survivors on the farm.
  3. I've never heard that before. I don't think that's true.
  4. I definitely preferred the first series and I hope they move off the farm quickly next season. Still lots of fun though.
  5. It is good that he is getting better. Hopefully he will be ok.
  6. No I won't leave out having an opinion Phil, it isn't just this specific instance anyway and where did that tweet make reference to public reactions on twitter? If she really believes that prayer is helping than it is still possible to pray for the player and wish him the best without publicising it all over social networking sites.
  7. I don't think all tweets were insincere and apologies if it sounded like I said that. My main problem is with how public people make things these days.
  8. I don't see why it has to be done through twitter that is all. Personally I think it comes across as insincere when people have public displays like that. People are entitled to do what they want but as I said, it annoys me when people put public messages about my friend on his Facebook account a year after his death. At the time, I contacted his sister an was extremely upset, I didn't need to tell everyone else about it through Facebook and I still don't need to now.
  9. Yep and nothing wrong with that at all. What bothers me is the public displays from public figures like footballers. Certainly highlighting the good job that the medics do is a positive thing.
  10. I'm not on twitter. It was reported on the bbc news sites and numerous outlets. I'm not aggrieved by it, I just don't see why every footballer with a twitter account feels obligated to express their public sympathies.
  11. Yep this totally. I get that people want him to get better and I get that people may feel a bit sad, but why do we have to have every footballer on twitter expressing their sadness publicly. What is wrong with sending the message in private if you know the player personally? It makes it seem like they are doing it out of obligation. Someone close to me died and it really annoyed me that someone posted a Facebook memorial page an people still post on his Facebook profile even now a year later. What is Wong with just expressing your feelings in a personal way?
  12. Yeah I can understand team mates being upset but at the end of the day they are professionals and they cant just keep postponing games. If a work colleague of mine had fallen ill I would still do my job. In many ways, continuing to perform is a tribute in my opinion.
  13. I agree. As with many of these things it is bandwagon jumping that I like to call Diana syndrome. The Blackburn manager has said he will support postponing their game on saturday but it's not like he could say anything else. Very sad about Muamba but I can't see why Bolton cannot play Saturday nor why we have to have so many public outpourings of support. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer shows of support in private. I consider them to be a lot more meaningful and more tasteful. Obviously I'm not talking about the crowd when the actual tragedy took place. It was like when Markus died and people said on here that they literally had tears streaming down their faces. I'm a fairly emotional person but I just can't understand someone who can feel such extremes of emotion towards someone they have never met or know personally.
  14. I must have been right by you.
  15. Oh dear! Bad hair day.
  16. He was in southampton a couple of weeks ago looking to get one of his stores into west quay.
  17. Because corp you never earnt your success in the prem, it was stolen. Have we seen the end of Corp?
  18. Just like to point out that at no point did I send you abuse (an can I have a ticket please haha)
  19. Ridiculous comment.
  20. Without wishing to be overly pedantic, it's 'So long and thanks for all the fish.' Edit: Darn too slow!
  21. Just for fun have run out of jester hats
  22. Hansen is a terrible pundit but Lawrensen can make me chuckle on occasion.
  23. Football programmes need three types of personalities to work IMO. They need a decent presenter type (always liked lineker), a humorous type and a couple of pundits who actually know what they are talking about. Zola was a pretty decent pundit for the game last night and claridge was another half decent choice for our derby game earlier in the season. Chiles is useless because he isn't a good 'face' for football on itv, he is extremely unfunny and he never adds anything of value to a football conversation.
  24. He isn't my itk poster at all. It's gazzpfc who I have noticed does actually have a contact at pfc (an its not like they are professional or anything and keep quiet). I could quite imagine him turning clubs down tbf he certainly did when he was at the cherries.
  25. He seems like a bloke from the pub Jo has just wondered into a tv studio. I guess that explains his 'appeal.'
