What does it being 2019 have to do with anything? You said he was poor at West brom. He only played for West brom in 2019 so it couldn't have been any other year.

He wasn't poor at West brom. You can go and look on their forum and it was universally positive feedback at the time. They would have liked to have signed him.

Interesting to hear from Adam that it sounds like the choice for Che is to go to Palace. He also thinks we will spend some money (20-30 million I think he said) which will be getting close to the 50 million that some posters were ridiculing others for saying we would spend.

Sinclair Armstrong deserves to play for a team that doesn't just lump it to him on his own.

We absolutely need some creativity in the final third and some people to finish chances. Alcaraz was a bit underwhelming for me but he may not have been fit. Bazunu deserves plaudits today for his performance, as does Edozie who I thought was great. Overall I thought we weren't great but a sign of a good team well managed is being able to win whilst not being great. A few more players in and we can forget about the ones who have sadly left.

I'm not saying fraser won't be useful but as Blackmoore said yesterday, we are losing potentially 20 goals from midfield with Tella gone. That needs replacing.

My guess is Woods and a kwp replacement in if it isn't Holgate, then concentrate on the attack. Ideally top quality replacements for both Tella and Adams.

That is now the worry. It's not enough to say we tried. We need to go all in on the Adams replacement if we want a chance of a successful season.

As disappointing as all this is, after a good night's sleep I think a comfortable win today will make everything seem better. No offence but the key players just shift onto the next one as soon as one is sold. The likelihood is that all three of those remaining will also be sold.
