Which is the most hyperbolic -breathtaking deception or morally repugnant?
-
"morally repugnant." LMAO
-
Yep. Fans of other clubs are absolutely desperate for us to sack the manager, destabilise us more than we already are and that's mostly because they don't want us as promotion rivals. Well fuck them we won't let it happen.
-
Back in his box. I'm a supporter of his but he hasn't come out of this with a lot of glory.
-
These statements are welcome but I do wonder why they couldn't have made them last week?
-
This was after the initial punishment tbf
-
Don't want to keep repeating myself but the clubs expectation was that there wouldn't be an FA ban. Sounds to me like that feeling is still there.
-
This statement today does make me realise how much I would appreciate more regular updates from Solak himself. He speaks more sense than anything from the club in recent times.

I expect both to go. Alongside Charles and THB. Would he amazing if we kept one of them though. Even losing all those we wouldn't be dramatically weaker assuming we can replace THB with someone half decent. A cm of Bragg, Downes and one other would be good business.
-
Although the primary benefit of sacking him would be the club being proactive about trying to put this behind us. If the FA ban him and force us to sack him then it's the worst of all worlds- instability at the worst time, players more pissed off losing a manager they want to play for and have a relationship with and none of the benefit we would get from sacking him because it wasn't our doing. I hope we are confident he isn't getting banned...
-
I know it won't happen but would be funny if they gave him a six month ban and we got him to manage in Turkey or France for 6 months.
-
I reckon they composed that a while ago ready to go for when the findings were released. Agree though it wasn't great- this was miles better and more human.
-
Yep. Combine that with an unexpected player staying like Scienza or Jander and we are in business.
-
Someone yesterday posted a rumour that he has offered to compensate the players. If true I suspect that would help matters.
-
Great interview and first piece of good news in a while. Fight back starts here and sounds like if they try to ban Tonda we will try to make things as difficult as possible for them.
-
Boro fans on social media really starting to piss me off with their ongoing whining. Calling for relegation and saying how awful it is. Just fuck off. I hope we keep Tonda for that reason alone.
-
No idea if they are but if they are looking to start legal action an apology at this point would probably be quite unhelpful. Besides, I had they had a full staff meeting soon and weren't planning a statement beyond this generic response one until after that.
-
Nah. I reckon the Boro analyst knew we were doing it and he would have been identified as William salt whether he was on our website or not.
-
Not sure what you're suggesting. We have clearly accepted the outcome. We may separately take legal action in some form (I reckon unlikely but you never know.) None of that is going to prevent the FA from coming to a decision if that is what they are doing nor will it delay any decision which will allow us to prepare for next year.
-
He really should have realised it amounted to a conflict of interest for a case of this magnitude and voluntarily removed himself. Doesn't really matter because it almost certainly made no difference to the judgement but it doesn't look good and really you want to be beyond reproach with this.
-
Things can be true at the same time. Did the fact this guy had one appearance for Boro influence the panel? Almost certainly not. Should saints have made a fuss about this prior to the disciplinary? Definitely. Should this guy have brought this up and removed himself from the panel? Absolutely.

I bow to your superior knowledge but I'd be rather surprised if this wasn't signed off by someone legal in some way. We don't know to what extent CC are involved with things.
-
It reads to me exactly like something that has been run through lawyers.
-
I don't really understand his desire for someone to own the story and lead from the front. If we are going to sacking people or are teeing up some legal response then we are hardly going to get someone front and centre as the fall guy. It is tough for fans though clearly because we haven't been addressed at all.
