  1. I mentioned last week that I know someone who has talked to the likes of Parsons and the message was that they weren't expecting FA charges against Tonda (albeit this was shortly after the verdict). I wonder if this makes that more true?
  2. At this point maybe just say nothing at all, keep Tonda and go up as champion next season. Do the talking on the pitch, I reckon anything they try to say now will just be mega embarrassing.
  3. Agreed. The only way this is acceptabke if we are now going to initiate legal action against the efl. If we are just going to shrug our shoulders now and move on then it's not acceptable to have said nothing to the fans.
  4. I'd calmed down but reading that statement I'm getting annoyed again. Surely that's not the first message the club want to send after all this time? So very disappointing.
  5. We waited days and days and that's all the club say? What a load of shit saying essentially nothing.
  6. I'm not an expert but I still feel like we could conceivably make a fuss over the appeals process and the hurried nature of it.
  7. Could be a good or bad thing really.
  8. Why would he meet you in particular. There's plenty of opportunities to hear fans views if desired.
  9. People left his rape gang enquiry in protest. The only reason he funded it was political point scoring. He is independently wealthy (in no small part because he fucked over our club) and so again, gives his mp salary to charity so he can score political points against less wealthy mps who can't afford to do so. Your last point makes no sense.
  10. I think it may well be the same! Just interesting that the whole thing about FA charges sounded definite. That wasn't the case last week at any rate.
  11. Still not sure how any saints fan of a certain age could like anything about swing Lowe.
  12. Won't be garner as we were doing it prior to January. Reeves or Newton...
  13. Just passing on some info from a friend of someone who has spoken to some of the higher ups at Saints. Apparently the message from last week was that there hadn't been an expectation of FA charges. Do we know for definite that the FA is looking to charge us? Would rather contradict what Blackmore has said and may have changed since last week. Just letting people know.
  14. And he did a much better job of it than our side.
  15. Football Martin bloke mentioned yesterday there is a full staff meeting on Tuesday and there isn't likely to be anything said by the club before then.
  16. Thanks for that Duncan. Reassuring to know things aren't maybe as terrible as they first appeared (although still not good.) Do you know if they club believe that Tonda is likely to get canned by the FA?
  17. You know as much as anyone else.
  18. He is a sun journo so more reliable than someone random on twitter. If what he says is true then some of the stuff written has been outrageous.
  19. Maybe so but that really needs to happen fairly soon you would think if we want to not be at any more of a disadvantage next season than we already are.
  20. It's going to be pretty embarrassing if this goes on for another week and then the FA ban Tonda so we sack him and that's the first time we hear from the club with no further explanation. I do hope they are spending this period coming up with some sort of plan of action -whether that might involve taking some sort of action I don't know (though I doubt it). If Tonda is to leave then it needs to happen soon since we need to get his replacement in and start planning for next year so we can hit the ground running and not end up wasting half a season like this year.
  21. Nah. If the FA don't ban him and the players are still on board then keep him and let him continue to win.
  22. We need to sell more than one or two. THB, Charles and Ramsdale won't be enough.
  23. I'd say qualifies as a saints legend. Was absolutely excellent for us.
