  1. Of course but the perception was that Labour weren't getting into power. I know many who voted Labour as a protest vote whilst thinking they had no chance of getting in.
  2. I shouldn't have to state it because it's really obvious but not everyone who voted Labour actually wanted them to run the country.
  3. Oh yes free lunches and sprinkler systems was exactly what I was objecting to and nothing to do with the politics of envy, unchecked union power and racking up a ton of new debt. You got me.
  4. If anyone was negligent then they should be dealt with. A few hours after an event like this is not the time for political point scoring.
  5. I saw that. Any politician of whatever political persuasion trying to make points like that over something like this is pretty disgusting. Particularly so soon after the event.
  6. Thanks pal but as someone who routinely embarrasses themselves on here I'm not sure you're in any position to judge.
  7. Socialism for the win!
  8. Indeed. I spoke to him in on the phone about ten years ago where he told me his story about having a saintsfc feeder club in major cities around the world. I laughed at the time but he was pretty convincing! Weird to think how it turned out eventually.
  9. Why not take a trip to Venezuela and ask for their opinion of socialism.
  10. To be fair we were told that with lls, Saint David and the monkey chicken petting zoo. I'll believe it when I see it.
  11. "capitalism is just as dangerous as socialism" Soggy 2017. Care to compare the death tolls related to both ideologies to see if your statement holds up? The West is the most developed culture that has ever existed. Capitalism undoubtedly has its problems but it is the most successful system we have and to pretend it is in any way comparable to the horrors that have been wrought by socialism is insane. Par for the course from you though.
  12. Hard to argue with that. It's certainly been an interesting and reasonably successful tactic from labour to try to grab power but it won't do the country much good if they manage to succeed next time.
  13. I met Sam Gallagher in a strip club in Budapest last year. Nice bloke.
  14. Not sure how true that is. Socialism is dangerous because it always looks good on paper and in theory. People will vote for it because it offers hope and positivity with little thought for the long term consequences. If labour do actually get in eventually under corbyn then we will see socialism in action and the consequences could be disastrous. I hope the Tories manage to sort themselves out by then or preferably another party pops up that is worth voting for but I'm not holding my breath.
  15. Meh. Could have said the same thing when poch left but that turned out OK.
  16. Agree with that sadly and I voted leave. This fudge has the potential to cause a car crash brexit and I'd rather stay in despite disliking the EU.
  17. Farage never said that. It was Boris and co.
  18. Also those silly people who denigrate voters by claiming they only ever listen to the sun and can't think for themselves.
  19. At least Philip Davies won his seat back.
  20. Not sure how this would leave brexit. To be honest if we have a coalition with jezza as pm then I'd rather stay in.
  21. Oh god this could be worst case scenario
  22. Superb. Some total c*nts in charge by tomorrow and the takeover by our club of lander as well!
  23. Because he's calling him that because of how he is acting rather than because he voted for a political party he didn't like.
  24. This sums it up for me.
  25. I agree with that. May will only win because she isn't quite as awful as Labour under corbyn. It's a sad indictment of the system.
