Threads like this really annoy me. There are legitimate criticisms of this season about entertainment, lack of Goals, poor performances etc but this cr*p just discredits any criticism because it's so ridiculous.

Why is that controversial?

Because so many games this season have been bereft of entertainment, goals and positive play.

For anyone wondering, this is why people have doubts about puel. If this peters out to a narrow loss you can see why some are discontented.

Why would katrina sh*t on her father's legacy in that manner by selling to broke and corrupt Chinese people? That would run counter to the only statement she has made as well as her families previous business dealings.

Can you only have a negative opinion of Islamic terrorism if it affects you personally? Is it not enough to see fellow citizens brutally murdered or maimed on the streets of London? I haven't had any direct experience of Islamic terrorism (although extremism is prevalent within most forms of Islam and I've definitely experienced that) but I don't think you have had to have been disabled by a bomb from a nutter screaming Allah Akbar to understand the impact that can have on the streets of our country.

If I were you soggy (thankfully I'm not), I would start a new thread talking about the ills of Maidstone and how it's like the wild west. I'm sure that many would be quick to condemn the behaviour of the cowboys and cowgirls on a Friday night. Until that time, it's not that unsurprising that a thread largely discussing Islamic terrorism has an awful lot of content on it about erm Islamic extremism. If every discussion about it on this thread has to be prefaced with "of course we all know that atrocities are also committed in Maidstone every week" in order to satisfy you then this thread is going to get even longer than it already is. I can't speak for others but for my part, take it as read that I am equally appalled by drunken gun slinging in Maidstone as I am about stabbings and murders by Islamic extremists. I'm mostly going to be talking about the terrorism on this thread though because that's what this thread is about.

No I didn't, I made no attempt to do what you claim, rather I was seeking to show how regressive the qaran is which really isn't hard to do. The Bible's failings have nothing to do with the Islamic holy book or the fact that we have such a large problem with Islamic terrorism and that women, gays and minorities are treated so horribly in the vast vast majority of Islamic societies.

When pointing out insidious text from the qaran and suggesting there may be a link to that and the various intolerant attitudes we see today across Islamic populations, pointing at Christianity and effectively saying "they are bad too" isn't a valid rebuttal. Start a thread on the evils of Christianity if you like, I'm sure there will be no shortage of contributors but calling some Christian teaching deranged or suggesting that extremist Christian have committed atrocities doesn't excuse Islam.

What relevance do Bible quotes have to Islamic extemism? Start a new thread on what's wrong with the bible and Christian extemists who commit terrorist attacks and I'll be on there to agree with you.

Interesting in what way? None of the polls suggest that this will mean that Labour will get more votes. The Tories will remain in power and essentially that changes very little.

Yeah I probably agree with you there. I think everyone accepts that Corbyn is a nice bloke, it's just a pity that an effective opposition is probably most needed now yet we don't have one.

Commitment to policy is supposed to happen with the manifestos. I wouldn't expect any party leaders to commit to too muchyet until they launch the manifestos. Even then as we know they don't always stick to them.

I'm guessing because this is a thread which has mostly been about terrorism and Islam has contributed a significant percentage of that in the last few years? I can't speak for Sour Mash but I'm sure he would condemn crime in general, however it is undeniable that Islam has contributed an awful lot to the terrorist attacks of the last few years as well as a majority of British Muslims (statistically) holding views that the average Britain would find reprehensible. This is a topic worth discussing in my opinion, yet you seem to believe that you are unable to discuss this without first acknowledging and condemning every atrocity committed by a non Muslim. Why is this?

Weird thing to say as always soggy. Thankfully my wife isn't a practising Muslim and she is as disgusted by these atrocities committed by Islamic extremists (and some Islamic teaching that a significant percentage of Muslims believe) as I am.
