  1. When Koeman joined, it was said that one of his strengths was that he has a knack from improving already good players into something better. I just remembered that and wow is that correct this season. Reed, Wanyama, (look at his silky skills and passing now compared to last season!) Fonte, (what a player and a real Southampton legend) even Clyne looks more solid and an attacking threat from time to time. It's been great that all of our signings have come off, but what has impressed me more is the extra performance Ronald has squeezed out of last season's players.
  2. Sorry are you suggesting that a Tory government would have joined the euro?
  3. I thought he would be at AC Milan by now considering how desperate they were to get him in.
  4. Sounds like the power of prayer to me.
  5. Whoosh.
  6. Indeed! Playing the big teams in the Champions league would be incredible but really it's just an excuse to finish bottom of the group. We won't win it and I want to win something.
  7. Nope. Fa cup every time.
  8. That's what a muslim said on Radio 2 earlier. Also said that in the 17th century no one was killed or injured for displaying the prophet and that many Muslims created images of him.
  9. Could still easily lose them in the summer.
  10. Oh yes. It's the big ones I'm worried about like Morgan, vic, Clyne, Toby, Bertrand etc.
  11. Would like to see some of our players signed up. Has anyone other than Targett signed a new deal since Cortese left? Would prefer not to see another mass exodus in the summer.
  12. I think the fallibility of the justice system should always be taken into account. Many lives have been ruined due to wrongful convictions and then the attitude of "he has been found guilty so is subhuman scum" by those in the media (again, not saying this is the case here.)
  13. With the caveat of course that juries are not infallible.
  14. Weird my tapatalk posted here for some reason.
  15. This season I believe.
  16. No I think you are wrong. I think that only the winner of the cup gets a Europa league place.
  17. I just use a really old version of tapatalk which works the best for me on my android phone
  18. I don't mind a certain amount of controversy (Chris Morris is a genius.) I agree may not be for me as I don't see why the amount of swearing is necessary in comedy and I didn't find the material in the clip either amusing or clever which is normally what I like. May have just been that clip though.
  19. Shows how subjective comedy is. Personally I couldn't have found that clip any less amusing.
  20. He ran away when we figured out his name.
  21. Wanyama woooah Wanyama woooah Than Einstein he is dumber We'll sell him in the summer
  22. Depends who does the advising. Personally I think it's vital that cartoons like this exists because when you start censoring things for fear of reprisals then these idiots get what they want. Look at South Park as an example.
  23. Saying "retaliation isn't surprising" is effectively saying that they should expect reprisals and therefore that they have brought this on themselves.
  24. Blaming the journalist is like blaming a rape victim for dressing provocatively. People have died in the past defending freedom of speech and personally I think it's honourable.
