  1. That was in response to CB Fry’s post further up.
  2. ????
  3. Luke Shaw did today on 5 Live. Mind you he's supposed to be as thick as pig ****.
  4. **** me Alps. Welcome back. Thought you were dead. Try a bit of positivity on here in your present incarnation and I might take you off ignore.
  5. Probably Sherlock writing the article.
  6. And a Cycling team plus serious F1 sponsorship
  7. Duc****er, Wes, Unguided Missile and the rest of the ‘Swivels’ will beside themselves with excitement.
  8. Probably not as good as Schneiderlin and his career really took off when he left, didn't it?
  9. I am on the same side as you, however, you really do come across as an arrogant s h i t. Oh, and while were at learn how to spell Gao. Goa is in India and not the owner's name
  10. Even as a paraphrased vox pop quote I might be in trouble if I used that last bit in my lesson on free trade!
  11. Thanks for that.
  12. Genuine one for the Brexiters. Which piece of EU imposed labour protection legislation are you most looking forward to losing and why? Same for environmental protection for consumer question. Not wanting to pick an argument or anything, just interested as currently teaching and tutoring Global Systems and Governance at A Level Geography at present and want some ideas counter to mine that I can paraphrase to show both sides. Genuine request. Thanks
  13. At least we’ll have a climate change activist there. Maybe she can do something about it
  14. Ahh those halcyon days of the early 1970s. What a great time that was! Quite nostalgic tbh. You know, the range of choice in food shops, wonderful cars like Ford Cortina's, Morris Marina's and Austin Allegro's, the miners strike, power cuts, inflation at around 8%, Bloody Sunday, OPEC Oil Embargo. Happy days!
  15. True though!
  16. 31 January 2020 the day that utter ignorance and bigotry wins out.
  17. Sound advice Weston, but ultimately it is up to them. Of the 4 A Level geography students I am currently tutoring two are uni bound, one is looking for an apprenticeship in accountancy and the other is looking at to start his own business. Our daughter is currently doing her PGCE training to become a secondary geography teacher. I am pleased to see her using her degree even if the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree. She’s entirely accepting of the financial consequences of her three years at uni, although the current course is supported by a bursary equivalent to that of a stating teacher and does not add to her student loan commitments.
  18. Female summarizer is doing my head in!
  19. Somewhere in the back story of 'pundit world' preseason was an idea that Saints would struggle at the start and it would be around half a season before RH had the team playing the way he wanted. Just looked at a couple of prediction sites one of which has us only getting another 13 points this season and winning no more home games. Happy New Year.
  20. Yeah, me too, but thought it was OK as a piece of Xmas TV. Been a lot worse hyped to the same level in previous years. Run it’s course though. Hope they leave it alone now.
  21. Another of the World Cup Winners passes on. Great player. RIP.
  22. I hope you don't expect me to engage a pantomime argument with you. Heard a bit of anecdotal stuff like this on social media but never heard anything said out loud. It happened. To be fair its the one and only time I've been in earshot of anything like this Could go into more details, but quite frankly I can't be arsed to engage with a class A bellend. Now run along!
  23. Maybe WSS. I had heard of anecdotal stuff like this but this was the only time I’ve heard anything like it myself in person. Quite shocked tbh. The fact that anyone could articulate such bile in a public place was just astonishing.
