Is that Basingstoke?

My point just now was that I (and presumably the other admins) was completely unaware of it until I just happened to notice the comment I highlighted above, not sure which threads he'd posted in previously but they'd obviously slipped under the radar. It goes without saying that while we attempt to keep up with everything that's going on, we do all have our own jobs to do outside of the forum so can't always read every single post and thread, which is where we rely on the diligence of everyone else to report anything suspicious
-
Speculator has gone, there's more than enough evidence. After yesterday's antics in this thread I'm seriously considering just getting rid of 19C as well.
-
Not anymore. It would be useful if people would point this sort of thing out to an admin via the "report a post" button, rather than use it for "wah, this person disagrees with me, ban him!" type nonsense.

I'm assuming it was set at £3m to scare people away to allow Chainrai to be "the only credible option".
-
To be fair, you'd have to be a complete idiot to pay a £3m non-refundable deposit just to get a look at the books - imagine the sort of **** they're likely to find!!
-
Yeah, but they've got about 53 strikers and attacking midfielders.

Oakley was offered an absolute pittance to stay here, I don't really blame him for leaving. Delap was decent in the 02/03 and 03/04 seasons, but we never really utilised his main strengths after that, especially when we were in the Championship. It's probably only this season that we've had enough players with the right build and technical attributes who would make best use of his long throws - I can only remember us scoring twice from them when he was here.
-
McGoldrick carried that team at times last season. We'd have been down by Easter without his goals.

Quoting Nick from http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/v2.forum.posts.php?id_t=142834 "They were booked, however thats all I can say at the moment"

"Son of Bob" on here went for a p!ss there quite early in the morning (probably 10.30 or so, I guess), and when he came back, he said something along the lines of "Seriously, if you need to go for a p!ss, hold it."
-
You'll want one of these

Nick is welcome to buy the SaintsWeb accounts from Companies House for £1, where he will find that precisely £0.00 has been taken out by the directors. It would be fair to say I'm pretty disappointed with that comment, considering I publicised the event on here on his behalf.

Never really been a great fan of Danny Wilson but he's done a great job there and they - like Millwall - are hitting top form at just the right time. They're the best team I've seen us play this season by some distance.
-
No, it was "going up up up"
-
Picking draws in accumulators is always a bad idea. I've gone for: Arsenal v Wolves Doncaster v Plymouth Peterborough v Newcastle Preston v Watford Bournemouth v Bradford Notts County v Bury Rotherham v Port Vale Also gone for separate singles of a Swindon win at Leeds, Man United to draw with Chelsea and Stevenage to draw with Luton.

And you accuse him of stalking you...

Our form since the first 10 games of the season has been automatic promotion form. We've picked up, on average, just over 1.9 points per game in the last 28 league games. Taking that average over the current 38 games played, and removing the 10-point deduction, that would put us in second place, three points ahead of Leeds and Millwall with a much easier run-in. We're really not doing that badly. It's very rare that a team keeps up the same intensity and consistency through the whole 46-game season, players don't stay fit or available for the whole season so there's a certain degree of chopping and changing required anyway, but with the cup runs it's appeared as though we've had to change much more regularly because of cup-tied players etc. Maintain this form to the end of the season and into next season and we'll go up, simple as that.

I've just downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Manager, just running an upgrade now, so should be up to 4.5. No idea why the OTA download hadn't done the OS upgrade sooner...

Actually, the burden of proof is on the accuser in this country. So you wouldn't mind Nick being quoted as long as he has the same opinion as you? Sadly (actually, no, fortunately), that's not how it works. Believe it or not, people do have different opinions to you, occasionally. "Southampton FC Supporters Society Limited" is what you're looking for. As an industrial and provident society, the registered company name cannot include the word "Trust". As such, I think the bank account is/was in the name of "Southampton FC Supporters Society Limited t/a The Saints Trust".

   Oh, sorry, you were being serious?!
-
Yes, usually in the middle of a ****ing call! I'll do a manual upgrade later today.

Can't say I have. Wouldn't overly surprise me considering Pompey are also going to be using the venue next week.
