He was great for a part-time ref. His normal job is playing Sid James in a Carry On tribute act, so the guy done well

A thoguth for those players who missed out

I was wondering what Drew Surman was thinking Festering away in Wolves reserves, whilst watching his mate Lallana scoring a goal at Wembley and lifting a trophy -
4 black guests When Tubes asked what his favourite gardening instrument was, I was expecting him to say Spades

The only thing that worries me about Platini's vision is relegation. It's very difficult for clubs to have restrictions on spending without submitting turnover figures. Do these figures go on last season's turnover, or are they projected figures? If they are on last season, what happens to a team coming down from the PL? Their figures will be distorted, allowing them to spend more & potentially get in the same **** clubs are already in. If they project figures, this will allow clubs to totally fabricate their position, which completely defeats the object The only way to eradicate this is by having an American franchise system This would be the biggest disaster of all

I heard a message on Radio Solent saying 8 were coming from Jersey

Martin Samuel, Daily Mail on Coretese: "self serving" and a "buffoon"

PMSL Everyone in my office was reading that article & agreed people like Holley are just the sort of tossers this country could do without Can't believe it's FF! -

I think fans are prepared to give Cortese a longer rope due to him bringing ML with him As a person he seems just as arrogant, smug and egotistical is Rupert -
Saints have confirmed that Kelvin Davis will lift the trophy not Hammond

Did anyone get on Chievo - Catania on Sunday? Once again Italian football has been hit by match fixing Most bookies stopped taking bets on Thursday, as huge bets for the draw came in There were huge bets for a 1-1 draw Betfair kept the book open - £2.4M bet on the match, of which £2.3M was placed on the draw. It went off at 1.86 (odds on for a draw pre-match is unheard of) £250k placed on Correct Score betting - £240k on a 1-1 draw Surprise,Surprise it ends 1-1! It's amazing how a major football league can be so corrupt

I'm not being racist, I'm just stating official facts 2% of UK's population are black 11% of UK prisoners are black You do the maths..............statistically a black person is more likely to enter a life of crime than a white person

Facially, I think she's gorgeous However, her tattoos are disgusting and her legs are really skinny & unattractive

It's no wonder so many fans of other clubs hate us so much The arrogance and naivety is staggering! We are a biggish club, not huge, and to suggest we warrant a stadium of 50,000 is ridiculous Only last year (in the Championship) when the club were on the brink, and we needed every fan to come and support us, we struggled to get past 25,000
-
Some fans are deluding themselves, a bigger ground doesn't guarantee success. Personally, I'd rather Cortese left than Saints leave SMS
-
how many animals or birds did google kill in compiling the images?
-
I'm afraid Cortese is showing his lack of knowledge or understanding of football Does he really think Saints fans would prefer an out of town development with 40,000+ seats?
-
Has this been taken out of context? If he was serious then that's disappointing and a bit of a worry. It's an indication that Cortese is starting to let his ambition run away with him - this is what gets football clubs into trouble! I love SMS, it's a cracking stadium and us fans have grown into it - you don't hear many people talk about The Dell anymore If they have major ambitions, then buy the the surrounding industrial estate and the gasheads. Once they are safe to pull down the whole land will be quite extensive

I read the article and I've never heard of any of them. Clearly the guy is upset at being made redundant, but it's also clear the IOW has never produced a decent player for them
-
I recently saw an interview with Michael Owen He confessed to having a soft spot for Chester, he used to watch them as a kid & still lives in the area For the sake of £26,000 it would have been a nice touch from Owen to give something back to the game & save his club
-
The most ridiculous poster is Tijuana Tim He posts messages about Ron's delight at our latest victory Until we started contributing for his new hip, Ron Davies knew nothing about modern day Saints. He even admitted George Best told him we'd won the FA Cup - hardly a die hard fan!

Jon Venables wasn't considered to be the driving force behind killing Jamie Bulger, so there seems to be shock that he has seriously reoffended and not Thompson. I'm just wondering whether the torment of having to deal with what he done has screwed his mind beyond repair? I'm not a liberal, so I'm not defending him at all; but if anyone had any decency within them, having to live with the memories of Jamie Bulger's death would be impossible to simply forget

You're right, it's Maidstone

The only Saints player to make Benali look cultured and composed

An absolute scruffy idiot With the country feeling patriotic after the Falklands victory, he tries to fight the 1983 election with a policy of unilateral disarmament

I'm amazed nobody responded to this thread You don't expect Totton to make national headlines for a double murder! At least he's been arrested now
