Wotton injury - the referee nearly had blood on his hands
Saint Fen replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Get well soon Paul, certain other of our players would never have the bottle to get in where it hurt. -
Hopefully we can get another season out of Perry, think he has been one our better players this season.
-
You just wonder if we had signed him at the start of the season whether we would have stayed up. He has been superb, would love to see him playing here next season but somehow I really doubt it.
-
Kelvin Davis has been absolutely superb this season, I'm sure every Saints fan will love to see him in goal next season. Deserves every bit of praise that comes his way. Great double save again today from the one on one. Last season and the season before plenty of people gave him stick and its brilliant how he has kept going and changed people's minds.

Not gone yet but happier days have been and gone, I'm hoping they will return. How about 5-4 Norwich in 94 6-3 against United 96/97.
-
I agree decent shout, after a real bad start (One of the worst I've seen) I thik he got better and better in the final games for us, was surprised that since there he has been playing in League 2. Personally I would go for Rickie Lambert of Bristol Rovers, we've lacked goals this season and this guy will get a hateful again next season, however I expect some championship club to snap him up.
-
Agree don't want Holloway he done a shocking job at Leicester spending a bit of money too. What about Paul Tisdale, he's done a fantastic job at Exeter and Team Bath
-
Just got back and it was absolutely shocking, we look so bad and there is no positive to take from todays game. No fighting spirt, nothing up front and an awful midfield. Whatever league we are in next season (League 1 99.99% I'm sure) we will need plenty of new faces.

Had my ticket already but getting my Forest one tomorrow.
-
Feel bad for them, unfortunetly they never had a chance with a 30 point deduction. Just far too much. I'm sure next season they will bounce straight back up and certainly hope they do.
-
Not the best of players but thought he had a good game today and probably was MOTM. Gets struck in and shows plenty of passion, just a shame he lacks any quality on the ball. Great Turn though!

Saints v Coventry 92 ended 0-0 and was awful accroding to my Dad although I have been hooked ever since.

The case to put to a multi-millionaire buyer...help needed
Saint Fen replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
I reckon that estimate is about right, at worst they would need £10 Million to cover the debt and for cash flow over the next season, The Mortgage doesn't have to be settled and they can just take that over. -
What about Wages and Running costs etc???? £70 Million may cover a large amount of debt but they won't be running at breakeven more likely losing at least a couple of million a month.
-
Well Lowe is definitely to blame for us being relegated but going into admin is all of Wilde's blame I'm afraid, Lowe left the club in good financial health (Although not on the pitch!), Wilde comes in spends loads of money and three years later we are no better on the pitch but with the football club future under a cloud. This is our fourth season in the Championship may I add which is Lowe fault
-
Couldn't support anyone else. Probably loose interest in football but hopefully there will be another Southampton start up.
-
I'd put some money in. We'd need at least 6/7 Million I guess which is a massive target, unless we had some big big donations. I guess approach wealth Saints fans / ex player etc will beef this up massively. Based on the Poll as it stands there is over 225k there already which is a great start, and that assumes people donating £5k plus only donate £6k ish. Anybody thinking of starting this PM me if you want any help, I'd do anything that could help make the difference.

Nigel Pearson did a fantastic job and is doing so with Leicester. Lowe messed up as always and Should never have got rid of him but he has gone, so get over it people! Wotte is doing a good job, under JP I don't think there is any doubt we would have gone down but now I think we have a real fighting chance of staying up. Lets hope we stay up and this man gets the same credit as Pearson did, Lowe buggers off and we actual keep him.

Robert Chase at Norwich wasn't popular
-
He done bloody well today, Euell up front superb. They got stuck in all the time, he deserves a lot of plaudits.
-
Bloody superb crosses today if we would had 2 Iain Dowies we would have scored loads
-
Anybody who went to Sheff Wed away last season could see he cannot deal with pace and power. but to be fair it was one of hid first, a bit like today. He is a good honest pro who puts in 100% with a decent run of games, he'll get better with time for them.
-
I think he has looked very good, just what we need. The trouble is we also need a big lump up front and a centre midfielder!
-
I reckon your about right, be interesting to see the half year accounts. We got rid of so many of the high earners in the summer that hopefully we will be breaking even on cash flow at least.
-
Saves over £500k a year! Alright player but hasn't really lived up to his fee, although hasn't really played in his favoured position. I for one am not really bothered by him leaving but wish him all the best and hope he can find the form that made us paid £1.6m for him.
