That's not a good example it just leads to confusion. Only this week did Barry tell me if QPR are relegated they are definitely in massive trouble but also they will definitely be OK as Fernandes and Mittal will use their own personal wealth to dig them out of the financial mire. So it's definitely definite.

I'm not sure who to blame this year as of yet but I agree it was certainly Cortese who got it badly wrong in 2005.

I'm sure that every other club other than SFC has a 100% success rate with their signings. It can only be us.

Nigel Adkins to take Southampton to tribunal
Greenridge replied to Only1Northam's topic in The Saints
It's an ongoing worry. A poll sounds like the way forwards with extra weighting for those ITK on the details of the contract and settlement disharmony. -
Nigel Adkins to take Southampton to tribunal
Greenridge replied to Only1Northam's topic in The Saints
I agree with all the above. We don't know the details of the contract and sacking a manager is at best subjective in terms of compliance with the contract. At the end of the day, the tribunal, with the relevant information, will make the decision not us. -
Just so I know for future reference, which if these traits do you display? Thanks for your help.

Saints charged by FA for failing to control players vs Norwich
Greenridge replied to patred44's topic in The Saints
I can't remember who it was but someone on here was, I guess, mischievously suggesting it was definitely a penalty. That was one of the true comedy moments on this forum. -
Maybe it's getting lost in translation.

Lol are you a body-language expert as well now?

Saints charged by FA for failing to control players vs Norwich
Greenridge replied to patred44's topic in The Saints
Strange that Ferdinand didn't get charged for his ironic clapping in the face of the Ref for the CL game last week. Still, that doesn't excuse our behaviour as long as it's consistent across the board. -
From whom?
-
My bad, I get easily confused with who's being ironic and who's not!

I think you might want to re-read the post.........

Comfort Blankets of possession, fixtures and other teams games
Greenridge replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
It's strange that Turkish didn't give his carer, The Kraken, the same grief when he stated he was going to boycott SMS for the rest of this season due to the sacking of Nigel. -
Comfort Blankets of possession, fixtures and other teams games
Greenridge replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
I do recall The Kraken stating he would not be attending any more games at SMS this season as a way of personal protest agains the sacking of Adkins. I don't think he was one of the posters who had a go at the Corrie lookalike though. -
You seem to be getting a little muddled Barry. You said 'they are screwed' now you are suggesting relegation is not a problem as their owner won't walk away but will use his own 'personal wealth' to bankroll them. That's OK then. This strategy appeared to work very well down the road.
-
Glad that we can finish this 'debate' at that point. Still, they gave it a go lol.
-
And what if they get relegated, you don't seem to allow for that in your argument? There are plenty of current examples of what happens if it doesn't work out. Other than Remy (whose worth is yet to be proven) I don't see huge potential for asset stripping and as for Redknapps claim that they would get more than they paid (and indeed had an offer) for Samba I'll put that in the same filing tray as his stories on banking.

Any ideas on timescales? This thread is about relegation for the 2012/13 season.
-
And after they've questioned those 'poor decisions' what happens next?
-
It's funny though. Isn't it?
-
So by your logic Kelvin shouldn't have been on the bench either. Makes sense I guess.

People who bump their own threads to prove a point clearly have some self-esteem issues. It goes on quite a bit on here. Of course the best of both world's would be nice, attractive football and the right results. I have a colleague who's a Stoke season ticket holder and they absolutely despise the way they play but just about accept it whilst grinding out results but they've be all over Pulis in recent weeks with their current run of results.
