  1. I have to agree there's a lot of statements of fact being made by some based on a one-sided view of the situation. I can only believe there's more to this falling out than the publishing of the Staplewood plans.
  2. Crikey :smt103
  3. Surely he could get a free one from the Club masseur at any time he fancied?
  4. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5754744,00.html Thought he was one of their better players but seems he hasn't been getting a game
  5. What is it with 'masseurs' these days as well. The Hearts one got 'sent off' after yesterdays tunnel altercation with Hamilton Accies lol.
  6. I'm not entirely convinced young Joe know's which side he bats for yet.
  7. Bridge's main problem is that he can hardly stand on his right foot let alone kick with it. This was always going to be a huge weakness.
  8. I think that's a reflection on where we are as a Club right now. It's been a long time since the feel-good factor has been around our club and it makes it a lot more enjoyable to be a supporter than the previous 5 years gave us.
  9. Same for me although Connolly's made a massive impact in a short space of time.
  10. Nick you are turning into Jon Snow
  11. With a wonky hooter.
  12. Would be quite ironic if one of the Pompey players (creditors) pushed them into Admin by calling in their debt.
  13. I remember an interview once with an old boy supporter of Sunderland after they had been promoted to the Prem during their yo-yo years between the top two divisions. When asked 'you must be looking forward to next season in the top flight' his response was 'you must be joking, watching us lose week in week out is no fun at all, I'd rather watch us winning in the Championship each week'.
  14. Lamberts good but not that good.
  15. I don't agree to the same extent as Charlie Wayman but something is clearly not right with Lambert at the moment. He's not reached anything like his previous form in the last 3 or 4 games. I had a distinct feeling that it was related to him playing the deeper role off Connolly but seeing as he didn't play last night then that theory is out the window. I see it posted that he's had some kind of virus / flu but can't recall seeing anything on the OS? Hopefully he'll be back to his former self in the coming weeks.
  16. It's OK John's going to text him.
  17. He's injured John although AP seems to have made it clear he is not in his plans...I wonder if he was fit tonight if he would have featured or maybe the relationship is broken beyond that.
  18. I wonder if Pardew is aware of this?
  19. Fair play and I understand your frustration. It's all about opinions though and I feel he has been pretty poorly treated on occasions although maybe there is background to why that has happened with more than one manager. You don't get to play for Poland at major finals by being a bad player and whilst his wages are a drain (which is not his fault) I still think we could have used his resources more wisely. But it's a new era and let's clear the decks and onwards and upwards.
  20. Fair play NC. Good luck to those organising and attending the day and hope you raise some decent money and enjoy the day.
  21. Thanks for your well constructed an polite post.
  22. I somehow doubt we'll be able to offload him. I have it on good authority he can't pass, can't strike a dead-ball, can't shoot or score goals, is selfish, indisciplined, doesn't play for the team or track back. He is truly shocking.
  23. Andy Townesend from Weymouth I think, often sat next to his wife at the Dell. Remember her going ballistic when he scored against Liverpool.
  24. Lallana is an awful player......according to some of our resident football expert(s)
  25. I actually feel for Hart, he is the one person at FP who carried on with some dignity whilst the shambles carried on all around him. He kept his head down and tried to get on with the job in hand. Despite apparent denials I think Grant is a shoe-in for the job although the Darren Ferguson connection is a possibility but I would have thought his old man would be warning him against this. And as has been posted earlier for all this to happen on the day they pull out of the World Cup bid just completes the comedy aspect.
