...at least the missus will be happy

More often than not it's the conditions of the streets and pavements around the various grounds that causes games to get called off rather than the playing surface itself.

My dentist has been 'threatening' me with this treatment if the two pins holding what is left of one sorry tooth together fail again. Seems you either hear of people have horrific experiences with root canal or no problem at all. Doesn't seem to be an inbetween. I have to say I really don't fancy one of the bad experiences!

A good stuffing by the Arsenal this evening will complete Christmas for the turkeys.

Losng our last game before the transfer window a blessing in disguise?

The Club have been trying to offload Saga for some time without success. Due to his wages we may find we are 'stuck' with till his contract expires. Pardew clearly does not fancy Holmes. -
Is the guy not allowed an opinion?
-
Funny as the BBC guy said 'it's far from over and Saints could definitely get back into this game' ! Opinions eh.

I was right in line with him and I agree he wasn't offside (unless he'd come back from an offside position when I wasn't watching). Mind you he missed anyway lol. -
Officially the start of Winter as well I think.

Yes, I'm not sure how I'm going to sleep tonight.

The book that accompanied the fairly recent BBC series Auschwitz: The Nazis & the 'Final Solution' is a really good read. Brought it for my Dad a year or so back and he loved it. The author is Laurence Rees

Mine would have to be the FA Cup 4th round in '84 down at Pompey. My Dad had managed to get us two tickets in the seated Pompey season ticket holder section! Being 14 or so most of the game was a blur to me but I remember right at the end when Biley had just blazed over we went straight up the other end for Armstrong to cross to Moran. Right in front of the Saints supporters who not surprisingly went mental, as did I only to be grabbed by the old man and pulled firmly down into my seat lol.

The only facts are that you don't know the facts and nor would it appear does anyone else on here but it doesn't stop opinion and supposition. Storm in a tea cup that people need to get over.

Bless them, they've released a charity single for Christmas

7 different managers since the takeover in 2006............they'll be catching up with us soon. Good luck Paul Hart, hope you've got a good contract.

Darren Ferguson must be a likely candidate........or George Burley

Jackie Brambles....very nice :tonqe:

It almost seems as though you are hoping they fail John. Very sad indeed but not surprising considering who you backed last time. Personally I'm glad they're here and saved our club. I suppose it demonstrates how far we have come as a club in the last six months that a trivial little matter such as this is the highlight of the forum. In a way that's great news.
-
Well unfortunately your idol RL proved that that is not the case John. I'm not sure anyone holds ML and NC in 'God-like' status but 99.9999% of the fan base are very happy indeed that they came along and saved our skin. Not only that they are proving to be good governors of The Club as well. It really is hard to find fault with where we are right now but it seems some will try. Painful to say the least. Give It To Ron you are spot on.

Don't think Kate's over 40 Nick but I know what you mean
-
I'm guessing maybe you mean Susanna Reid (and not Sian Williams as per Badger :smt018)
