Sorry fella didn't read the whole thread. I believe it's done by splitting the tv shot we were watching in 2 so that you see the real time view on the right with the live draw etc but the left hand side where his predicted balls were on show was actually a 'still' which enabled someone to swap the balls over in the time it took the draw to take place and for him to write the numbers down which is just a ploy to buy them a few seconds for the switch to take place. Just IMO of course...simples

As Diego was unsuccesful in getting Raul, Ronaldhino and Tevez to join the team down the road they've had to make do with the signing of the mighty Danny Webber. Premiership defences will not be able to sleep at night hearing this news.

I'm looking forward to his return as whilst he has been on the sidelines he has reached cult legendary status regarding his ability! On a more serious note it goes without saying we are crying out for width in the team so let's hope he gets a chance to underline his 'forum' potential sooner rather than later

I doubt the irony is lost on anyone that you have jumped in. Rather than trying to rubbish other's who have been at the helm why not make a positive case for Lowe who the thread is referring to. Your answers are like that of someone who has revised poorly for their maths exam and when asked what 2 + 2 equals they respond with a tome about Laplace Transforms. As for your (yet another veiled attack) on Pearson regarding Pericard then most reasonable people would suggest it was a gamble worth taking. It didn't work out and Pearson was the first to recognise this hence his limited use at what was a desperate time calling for desperate measures. It's been noticeable how absent you've been from the board since most of the topics have been football related in recent weeks. You've been missed.

Even Storrie is admitting they were very close to the brink on several occasions but it seems he had more persuasive powers than RL to keep the wolves from the door.

And on his shirt it's just Waigo so not too expensive afterall

According to the OS it's with a view to a permanent deal http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1785065,00.html

From the Echo... A deal for the 25-year-old was done yesterday, ahead of the transfer window closing, but Saints only received confirmation from the Football League this afternoon. Hopefully that should quieten down some of the moaners demanding to know why we never signed anyone yesterday

Really? Has he got two twin brothers

I saw it coming.....about 1 minute earlier on the other thread

To be honest there could be a million and one reasons why they didn't happen and we'll probably never know and with all due respect starting a thread won't get the answer either. I think we just have to accept they are working on things frantically behind the scenes. AP knows where we are weak and has stated he will address those areas. To repeat the scratched record I'm sure we'll see activity during the emergency loan window when it opens shortly.

I'm in the 'love it' camp but it seems you have to have worked in an office to understand the subtlety of some of the jokes and the petty politics. I have a good friend who has never worked in an office and although we normally have the same sense of humour he really struggles with The Office.
-
Or he'll go out on loan. I hate to sound like a scratched record but I'd be more than surprised if we didn't see some coming's and going's in the 'emergency loan window' so this 'post deadline day squad' is not necessarily the same one that will take us through to the January window.

Not sure why the level of despondency.....he's a good acquisition (subject to blah blah) and we'll be trading in the emergency loan window. COYR

I thought so to and maybe it's not too late but I the emergency loan window is there to be used and hopefully that's just what we'll be doing. -

...and as if by magic... Looks like we'll be relying on the 'emergency loan' window like the majority of clubs then. -
In recent times it appears Matt Mills is the one it would have been nice to have kept hold of but hey ho life goes on. Most clubs could produce a similar listing of the 'one's that got away'.

Are you laying claim to be the forums latest ITK champ? You have some stiff competition. -
He's shorter than Gillett

Or they won't happen at all and most clubs will resort to the 'emergency loan' window over the coming weeks. -
There was a statement on the PFC website yesterday Duncan that basically confirmed he (AAA) has taken full control. I think there is more to follow in this comedy however....

Over there. Quite why people rise to SunnyD's little controversial snippets I don't know. As his sole supporter Ponty points out...'if you don't feed the troll he will go away'

Not disputing that at all John, the footballing world went crazy a good few years back but that's another argument altogether. Sky / Graham Kelly are mostly to blame and as we are witnessing right now the whole game is close to imploding as a result.
